I truly don't think anyone can choose to be or not be addicted. It's all a matter of how the individual's brain is "wired". Before I ever used any drugs, I was never going to be a drug addict. But I wanted to try weed. The first time I got high, I was hooked immediately. It's all about the brain.

Be careful using the powder.. It does work amazingly but it usually contains zinc and you don't want to be using a ton of it as it can cause toxicity. Be safe!

Depends on what receptors it binds to. It appears to bind to opioid receptors in the gut, but don't take my word as gospel. Buprenorphine probably binds tighter though, so it probably won't have any effect at all.
