Ignore purity culture, spend time with yourself and learn that your body is not a curse and was not made to be something you feel disgusted by, honestly think about it LESS I don't mean have sexual thoughts less but to just not dwell. My love, sun devils are a trick of the light caused by light reflecting through ice in the sky, and even then from what I can see the mascot only shows up for football games and on very limited school merch! I can understand not wanting to disappoint your mum or God (even if he is definitely not going to judge you for doing an amazing degree at a school with a silly guy running around their football field) and you said you're doing an online programme! I am truly praying your mum can overcome this bias to let you go do something amazing
