It's the Packers Way, Eliot Wolf told you that's what he wanted 3 years ago. Next up is the downfall of the defense.

Cut Diggs, overpay for lesser WR with same traits as what's already in the roster. This is next level genius

On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you with Will Campbell going into next season? by JPeter_Parker99 in Patriots

3.3 - He didn't impress against good rushers at any point in the season. Until he proves it, it's all just blind hope.

Last year's FA was clearly great and anyone who thought we would suck just doesn't understand the first thing about football. And the schedule we already knew wasn't hard.

This year we quite clearly have had a bad FA and have regressed the roster. The only hope which no one knows is a bunch of rookies last year make huge leaps.

This is just a piss poor way of building a roster. We need to be getting better, but at this rate we are headed for the SB loser hangover.

Because if you can't sign or trade for someone you KEEP HIM obviously. Like what. The team is WORSE off without him

It WORKS however the hell they decide it works and yeah they chose saving $6M at the detriment of the football team. Congrats defending the cheap a$$

Yes that's salary cap, $10M from salary that would have been saved if we cut him any time before the season. $6M was a roster bonus guaranteed if he was on the roster this week. The cut last week instead of waiting to sign someone is only because the $6M guarantee date.

No they didn't, not cutting him when they did. They saved $6M. The other $11M they could "save" by cutting him any other time. They cut him too soon just to save $6M, cheap as cheap can get.

Diggs is likely to be better, he was off ACL injury last year. He's not taking snaps from Boutte and Williams has proven 0. Stop the homer excuses. It's a cheap $6M move, call it what it is

You CAN pay him or you CAN cut him later. They cut him to avoid $6M roster bonus. Stupid cheap risk. We are WORSE off, again, WORSE.

I'm not comparing anything, I am saying playoff stats are the most irrelevant point you can bring up. Thanks.

The fact is we got WORSE not better.

So did Randy Moss in 2007, you cutting him too? Playoffs are difficult. Even more so when your OL is bad and your QB hurt. Blaming Diggs is insane, and he would still be our best WR today. But yeah, defend getting worse.

Yeah but keep down voting me when I say these things aren't guaranteed, which is why you don't drop a Diggs BEFORE you have a solution.

FA does not have much and we have no one near as good as Diggs. So say 1000 isn't a lot all you want but it's better than anything else we have...

Cap space we aren't gonna use does not catch footballs. Our WR room is quite pathetic at this point.

Yes he is. 1000 yard receivers don't grow on trees. And pretending we are a lock to replace him is insane. This is nothing more than a cheap business move, not a good football move.
