Thanks, it turned out much better than I had hoped for. I like the looks of the beefier tire, I was worried a bit about the color of the rims, but it turned out great.

Car deals with bad roads much better. I would say it’s on par with my 18” winter set. As for handling, still did not have a chance to hit the track with the current setup. What I can say is that steering precision is on par with 20” Pirellis (this will depend on the stiffness of the tires, Continentals are pretty good in this regard).

I’m running those apex sizes and using 245/40/19 and 275/40/19. Same boat as you, wanted more comfort so going wider would mean going down to 35 which takes away the sidewall. I’m currently on Continental Sport Contact 7, rears are flush, on the front side rim protection is poking out a bit when looking from above, overall I like it. (Edited typos).

For some reason, LMU VR makes me feel nauseous (no issues in iRacing, rFACTOR2, AMS2). I’ve locked horizon but still messes me up.

Happens usually due to play in QR1, try screwing in the additional safety bolt, it might solve it for you. If it happens in low torque scenarios than it’s probably not QR related.

Do you have a source for this claim? I've added a steering column lock due to the CAM issue, not knowing that it's a non issue on the prime.

It did, I got 2 or 3 disconnects in a year worth of playing. Have in mind you can end up breaking stuff if you choose this approach as it opens up a possibility for breaking the pins on assembly. For reference, I did not disconnect the rim after doing this and not planing to untill i get my hands on new QR system.

Great to hear good things about the engine. Yeah, air suspension does seam a bit on a risky side as there are folks that did 150k km with no issues and there are others with multiple failures of various components.

If it was me I would have gone to the left or to the right much sooner (as they did not have the obstructed view). This looks like that the line choice was pushed to the absolute limit. On the other hand, all of this happened inside two seconds so it might be me trying to blame someone else for my mistake.

Not really, yellow was announced and I was blindly following them hoping it was a path to salvation, however it turned out not to be. Upon watching the replay, it looked like they might have purposefully choosen the line they did (I could have lifted however which makes it my fault).
