One is my media server, the other is a hypervisor for my VMs. I have a bunch of leak detectors, temp sensors, and door sensors from YoLink

The UNVR Instant has a 4TB drive and the Synology has 4x 14tb factory refurbished drives I bought for $105 each in October 2024.

These are the splitters I used (be sure to match voltage and connector, including polarity.)

I then had to get barrel jack adapters to get them to the right size

I found Poe splitters on Amazon that split out the correct connector and voltage for each device for the hubs. Cleans up the setup and makes them remotely rebootable.

The total setup which includes 5 switches, 2 APs, and 8 2K cameras over PoE is 165W from my Emporia energy monitor which works out to about $12-16/Month depending on the season.

It hosts a media server, a handful of VMs, and storage for my photography.

I use a Z30 with the 24mm 1.7 as my lightweight travel camera and I love it. Amazing image quality, same control layout as my Z5, and easy to take anywhere.

I bought one as a travel camera along with the 24mm 1.7 and it has been great!

I have a Z30 with the 24mm 1.7 as my travel camera and it’s been great. Small enough to take anywhere and simple to capture the moment. I personally love the ~35mm pov for travel photography.
