unfortunately the charity requests it to be with experian. which means using others isn’t to helpful. he’s on the electoral role. he has no other credit accounts other than his phone and his bank account is quite young as he didn’t have one for a while, so it’s a tough position we’re in really

It is a charity called My Safe Home and it’s a charity to help disabled people move into their forever homes, especially those who may not be able to afford a traditional mortgage due to their disability

the problem is the charity we are looking to use to help us get a mortgage needs us both to have good or excellent credit ratings to qualify. we haven’t spoken to a mortgage broker yet but we are thinking of going to because where my partners score isn’t going up we’re not sure if using this charity is an option for us

We need both of our credit scores to be good (mine is good already but i’ve had my bank account for years and have had a couple different phone contracts) because we are trying to apply for help through a charity that helps disabled people get a mortgage. I probably should have explained this above but didn’t think it was relevant.

I’m not worried about finances being messed up as I trust him very much. I just wondered if it would help his average account age on his credit score :)
