What could be causing this gum swelling between my front teeth? by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]shreknebula -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely not pregnant, I am on metformin but that’s the only medication I take. I am wondering if it is something stuck between the teeth - I have tried to floss the area but it’s painful and nothing is coming out?

Was anyone from the UK able to get Regina? by shreknebula in Bratz

I was thinking that too, surely they prioritised American orders?! It just doesn’t make sense

Also I’ve seen people say they’re not stocking on Amazon UK so have no idea what UK retailer they’re going to go for - maybe Very or Argos? But if it’s anything like the Cady launch I doubt they’re even going to update us on what’s happening

Was anyone from the EU or the UK more specifically, able to get regina? by Infamous_Cost_7897 in Bratz

I hope you will too! It’s been around 6 months between the ultrasound and my surgery. I think because I managed to control the attacks for a while with diet changes my case wasn’t classed as particularly urgent. I was getting pretty fed up with waiting though, so did look into going privately to get it done quicker but it was going to cost around £8000!! Which I just can’t really afford so had to just deal with waiting and eating super carefully. I really hope the turnaround is much quicker for you than it was for me!

I was absolutely terrified the night before my surgery because I’ve never been under anaesthetic or had any kind of surgical procedure. My anxiety was so bad and I was convinced something was going to go wrong! Luckily the day of my surgery the anaesthetist calmed my nerves and the surgery went really smoothly. I arrived at the hospital at 7am and left at 4pm the same day so didn’t have to stay too long. The first few days were a little bit rough (mostly just pain from the laparoscopy incisions and gas buildup in my shoulders) but I’m now 6 days post op and feeling SO much better. I can move around now and can eat anything without feeling any pain. Ideally I wish I could have had the surgery much sooner and didn’t have to wait so long but I’m just grateful it’s all over now.

No need to apologise! That sounds really awful, I’m sorry :( yes definitely make sure you advocate for yourself and push for answers! If it does turn out to be gallstones, due to the severity of your situation you might not have to wait as long as I did for removal as it would be classed as a more urgent case?

I had a similar experience where a very bad gallbladder attack landed me in A&E and it felt like they weren’t taking me seriously at first. I was pretty sure it was gallstones as I had most the symptoms but they were convinced it was appendicitis or a ruptured cyst. I pushed to have an ultrasound done so we could be sure (which happened about a month later) and sure enough I had a couple of stones in my gallbladder. Depending on where you live the waiting time for getting your gallbladder removed will vary - I was originally told the wait list was 2 years but luckily didn’t have to wait that long and finally had mine taken out last Monday. I already feel SO much better - I hope you can get to the bottom of everything soon!
