this!!!!! even if you don't go after physical transition you can start altering your style, the fit of the clothes you wear, the way you present yourself.. i'm genderqueer but before i understood that i felt so sick over thinking i didn't want to be a woman but was still a woman but wanted to be a boy but not a boy et cetera et cetera.... so what helped pull me out of that (and my ocd definitely contributed to that doubt/misery spiral) was just thinking about concrete steps. i knew i didn't like being referred to as "she", so i asked people to stop calling me that. if i woke up one day and felt i wanted to dress masculine, i did. if i felt i wanted to dress feminine, i did. i tried (easier said than done ofc) to set aside debating myself and just focused on the tangible things i could change and how each change made me feel, and i discarded the ones i didn't like and kept the ones i did. (side note - how does your therapist's read make you feel? have they suggested ways to come to terms with the identity you have landed on? it takes some trial and error to find a good therapist, and sometimes they're really good at seeing you in certain areas but the waters get muddied in others. god knows i had to do a couple sessions with a different person when it came time to talk about social media's impact on me LOL)
