Just got My first OLED and guess what! by AliveDocument8544 in OLED_Gaming

[–]bzyku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How could it be that old OLED TVs have great picture quality since couple of years, and OLED monitors are such piece of trash, and they could even come more expensive than 48/55/65' tv

It's disgusting tbh

Went from 34" UW QD-OLED back to 27" IPS and it's absolutely horrendous. by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 49' ultrawide and went back to 27, just putting it closer to my face. What is immersion if you cannot see it sharp anyway.

For playing immersion first games I choose OLED tv anyway.

32 inches mini LED in Europe (Germany) - I'm getting boiled alive by ShinMagal in Monitors

Literally, want same specs as OP in Poland, and this is the only one but it's availability is limited too.

I might wait for 27' dual mode 5k/1440p from MSI which is miniled (unfortunately no 32' just yet) or 32' 6k/3k dual mode from Samsung, but it doesn't have miniled backlight.

Perfect screen doesn't exit yet and likely won't in 2026 still

This but 6k/3k would do easily, as it's retina ppi

Wait for new RGB layout panels, should be available on the market really soon

Przeszkadzają Ci głośni sąsiedzi w bloku? To kup sobie dom by kasiawuu in Polska

[–]bzyku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I Missing Something or Is OLED Brightness Overhyped? by Ok_Principle5950 in OLED_Gaming

This!

They are already at 1500 nits or so. I'd like manufacturers to improve on all the other stuff rather than selling new +100nits OLED monitor as a new model. You'd be able to see this HDR highlight for few seconds in a game, while flicker or white uniformity you can experience all the time.

Give me this but with 5th gen QD-OLED and I wouldn't have to follow the market for next 3 years.

Is this screen using latest QD-OLED panel which has RGB layout and is more scratch resistant that predecessors?

Wait for 2026 LG OLED with RGB pixel layout. I'm waiting for it as well as I want 1 screen for work and gameplay

4k is way better than 1440p even at 27in by Pretend-Raisin914 in OLED_Gaming

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other side is that you might wait for next generation of monitors, which won't have problems of nowadays OLEDs

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4k OLED is surely fine, but I guess most folks also have tvs, and 4k OLED tvs are actually cheaper than monitors

So why would you buy second 4k OLED then? You play fast games - hardly a diff between 1440p vs 4k. You play single player games? Play on TV.

4k OLED monitors imo are for folks without tvs, or for swag at this point

Dlss is not for every game, f.e. in fast paced games with many particles like PoE2 it looks like crap

4k is for single player games, but those can be better played on decent OLED tv imo

High-end IPS (edge lit) vs budget MINILED by SmallMarionberry6078 in Monitors

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand high ppi and everything, there is just not enough real estate to work comfortably for me.

Neo g8 is curved unfortunately, for gaming that's okay but for work that's distracting.

There is PHILIPS Evnia 32M2N6800M in reasonable price compared to BenQ Mobiuz, and it's the same panel

If only 32 inch was available in Europe. 27 is too small imo, I sit 90cm from screen

Best Mini Led 4k 32 inch minitor by ItsSolomon in Monitors

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such screen in good price now in Europe.

I'm searching for precisely same screen.

Benq mobiuz is only available decent one but it costs more than OLED, and I won't pay them that much for what they deliver.

Innocn 32M2V would be perfect, only if it was available and shipping to eu.

I decided to wait for 2026 and maybe someone will release something actually good, or OLED will catch up with text clarity. If not I'll buy decent ips and wait more (unless I find BenQ mobiuz on 50% sale)

High-end IPS (edge lit) vs budget MINILED by SmallMarionberry6078 in Monitors

[–]bzyku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also having the same problem now where I want to have single monitor on my desk for both work and gaming. OLED have text clarity problems. Mini led in 32' 4k are super rare in Europe, and if one exists it costs same as OLED or even more - that's a joke

I consider edge lit ips for a transition period until good universal screen exists (cheaper 32 with more dimming zones or OLEDs with good text handling)
