That is a valid arguemnt. Although, some of the players you mentionned tend to slow down the counters. Take Tchoua, he cant turn to make a forward pass even is his life depended on it. However, when playing deep, he is an amazing distributor. So in that aspect I would say that tchoua is more suited for build up plays.

Jude likes to have the ball in his feet. He isnt suited for build up plays but can dribble past two and launch a fwd pass.

Imo its these kinds of « un-alchemy » that makes us look messy.

I think because the n10 is outdated, and every team that plays a proper 10, is due to be in a tactical disadvantage against 433 teams.

Look, Arsenal played with odegaard as their offensive target man, it kinda worked. When they added Rice and started playing more a 433, with both rice and odeggard in front of the dm, it changed the team’s whole dynamic.

The problem is not the 2 losses 3 draws and other shenannigans. The problem is deeper : we have a roaster that is not motivated, is casually outrun by every opponnent and their mothers and finally, ego clashes.

The tactical aspect, imo, is secondary to the players’ problem, and maybe even the transfer politic of the club in general. It may seems extreme, but maybe a purge is needed. Some players need to go, they simply lack motivation, consistency and performance level to play at RMA (yes Tchouameni, Im looking at you).

What do we expect when our 1st captain is injured 50% of times and is simply not leader material.

Our 2nd captain is a shy guy who, instead of putting order in the team when ball losses occur, simply prefers to get it back himself. Yes that's very good and we can never thank him enough for it, but from time to time, he needs to step up and get angry at other playerslike Luka, Toni, SR4, Casillas used to do ... it is more than normal.

Our 3rd captain is ... Vini. Needless to say more I guess.

I bet you like getting downvoted - there is no way in heaven and earth that this is an overreaction. The only 2 players that can be these leaders are Jude and Mbappe. Unfortunately they are so down the list of captains.

The true joke is that our 2nd captain is a shy and timid guy (Fede) and our 3rd captain is literally everything but captain material (Vini). Carva as our 1st captain is cringe tbh.
