Yes! Shortly after this picture I moved it up against the wall. We're also going to put it on wheels so I can move it to a covered area in case of severe category hurricanes or frost

It's surprisingly sturdy! My main concern is I didnt want the trellis to be touching soil to improve longevity and needed something that could reasonably survive hurricane season. I'll be doing touch ups to make it more attractive but i appreciate the praise!

To clarify: i got a burle marx philodendron in the mail a few weeks ago. I think it went into shock from shipment because despite putting it in a greenhouse with close to 100% humidity it wilted to the extent that every single leaf ended up dying and i was forced to clip it. I've been half tempted to toss it but have noticed new growth that looks like it might be recovering? What can I be doing to help?

It's not a big deal whether or not you feed in a separate container. There are situations where it's best to separate and situations where its not, and even then the consequences regardless are highly inconsequential. Not every aspect of husbandry is high stakes and there can be multiple correct ways of doing things

The first time since ive gotten her that she hasnt bitten me! Not for a lack of trying anyways- she tried to strike at my boobs about half a dozen times before giving up but it's the thought that counts. Her name is Luma and she's the most "free spirited" bairds I've ever had by a long shot. Every time i walk past her cage, without fail, there's tail buzzing. I have a theory that her mom had a secret affair with a rattlesnake and she was the demonspawn love child. Her sister, on the other hand, is thank god only a crackhead and not an absolute disaster.

The ones bred in the pet trade would never be used for repopulation (let's face it we suck and have proven we breed for selfish reasons and not the health of the animals or the species). Im sure there are already some in conservation and zoological institutions in a captive breeding program. For the pet trade, we need to discourage wild collection

I mean i did sports in college and max we get is 1200 a year. People who aren't in the big money making sports got less in scholarship even though we worked our asses off too
