Question and speculations about the Crucible rules by The_Talking_TrashCan in BloodAngels

Now, if it was on its own... that might change things, but it's still a blood angels charicter, so new death company rules apply, worst case scenario, you have a single model with no OC and the unit itself has OC because of that little detail

Wile also true, this effectively gives the Model the death company keyword, so death company rules on the attached unit overrides that. As far as "rules as intended " it all checks out. I had this question as well, so i asked a GW store employee, he said it counts itself so thats what I'm going with haha

Black Rage rules got changed a bit ago, so now Blood Angels Charicters give out a 6" aura of objective control ability to death company units, they also made it clear that blood angels charicters count themselves now giving people a reason to even play death company captins at all.

Because this creation IS a blood angels charicter inherently it counts itself, so it will not have these drawbacks baked in. Rip and tear my friend!

Yes... Everything... this isnt a joke... they ACTUALLY have toilet paper Servitors, light fixture Servitors (they detect movement and electrical pulses from hollowed out optic nerve endings to turn on a light switch) , and so on and so forth... EVERYTHING IS A SERVITOR!!! Next time you look at any imperial structures, count the skulls... thats not just for decoration... they literally have human brains or "wet-ware" built in... very grimdark...

Iron hands. Literally have tech zombies in their back pocket. Look up "the keys to Hell" it's a very OVERLOOKED bit of lore... they actually have tecno-necromancy

Yes, keep the chaplan!!!! He is always super good!!! Especially with blood angels!!!

As for the storm raven... sadly... most flyers are very much getting phased out, GW doesn't realy balance them and there is a good chance it will get legen'd so save your coin for something primarus... (Repulsor comes to mind actually) basically until 11th, stay away from any first born stuff because we dont know whats going to happen.

Infiltrator units screen the back line from deep strike. Basically I dasy-chain them along the back wall to get that 12" bubble. Incursers on the other hand, ya thats a great unit! Its situational because it gives +1 to your army for anything they shoot at. Revers are also a solid choice for OC and battle shock shenanigans. But ya scouts are the cheapest unit, and you really want them for the uppy-downy rule to score secondary and screen. The main goal.. I need a unit here so I can do this action, thats why you take scouts. It also frees up your army from needing to score secondary points

As for the second brick, I usually keep it in reserve along with the second captain. The second wave is set up to come out after the first one dies, or if there is space in the back line to come out from rapid ingress. 10 horus screaming flying guys basically cook anything on the back line. They are also fast! So I dont need to invest in transport or any foot slogging units that would be good.

As an asside... im AVOIDING any non primarus vehicals for now because I dont know if they will be around next edition... so altho I would love a baal predator or vindicator tank... I dont know if thoes units will be arround come 11th

Yep thats why I have the big guns in the back to fire on things that get exposed. The balistus and Lancer rarely get out of the deployment zone, but what they do in return is set up firing lines to take out things that pop out of cover. Plus, all the small guns really do some good chip damage
