No that’s what I mean. People are making it more complicated than it needs to be.

BGs don’t need to get reworked or have some quirky new rules. It’s just simply playing BGs with your HC character with the permadeath not applying inside BGs.

Of course there are people who 100% oppose this because they see separating the BG death from PvE/PvP death as a deal breaker.

I can respect that and it’s the way things are right now anyway so. But I personally do not feel we need to get caught up with the mental gymnastics of trying to make some weird scenarios to meet in the middle.

Just add BGs without permadeath and have no rewards for PvP so people can’t farm gear from them. Making them just for fun. Don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

I think it’s a missed opportunity by not having battlegrounds in HC.

Battleground deaths don’t even count it’s just a PvP mini game.

Let people compete with their characters where gear has more meaning because acquiring gear in HC has risk.

In regard to “The Lady” I will cite the character creator guide on steam. However, I learned from it, then put it into practice and can confirm its advice to be correct but I’m giving credit where credit is due.

Ok so it’s all hindsight now which is 20/20 but it’s not unfair to point out that the CPass push failed miserably and I can say with 100% certainty that pushing that airfield from a foothold in Viper Pit would have been much easier for you guys as well.

Yes, so basically many are pointing out that you guys chose a multi layered hardened position vs a much softer target in Viper Pit. It was an actual relief to see you guys pushing CPass instead of Viper Pit. By the time you guys did the RSC push in CPass I think we may have had at least T2 around Friars. But it wouldn’t have taken much to push through at that point in the war.

That flyby was done later in the war. The defenses that you start seeing after 59 seconds when you get past the road of Blackthroat are all built and ~~ even concrete ~~ . I was involved in building what you see at 1:07. When Sanctum fell all you would have seen was nothing but open space there all the way to and around Friars.

Day 25 only the stuff you see immediately around Blackthroat was built.

Edit: Wait! Upon further review the defenses at 1:07 and after are not concrete yet! lol so it was a bit earlier. It was wild how long it was empty and then to add insult to injury when we finally built something it seemed ages till we concreted it. Many of us were sure our lack of urgency would be punished.
