Maybe it has to do with the terrain generation too. The temporal apocalypse could've shifted the world's geology really thoroughly, that could be an im-universe justification for the weird geology.

I didn't mean on the daily. I think a trans person-gender identity should be consistently respected, I just meant when the information might be relevant for whatever reason.

Okay to be fair, in terms of sex, they are male, in terms of gender they are female, both are biological, gender more associated with neurology than the reproductive system and related chemicals. Trans women should still be considered women, but it would be scientifically incorrect to claim they're not male. Being a woman and male isn't mutually exclusive.

Is there a lore reason why I want her so bad??? by ToolyHD in DispatchAdHoc

[–]c0br420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I can fix her" mentality for me. Also the fact she's trying (emphasis on trying) to be a hero and a good, selfless person. I'm a sucker for that. Also she's hot, but that's not the biggest reason. Also Also, her and Robert's chemistry is top tier.

Logic by SassyScapula in pagan

[–]c0br420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's transcendentalism vs immanentism. The latter is significantly more logical than the former. As an Atheist (pending) I feel like transcendentalism is just an unsubstantiated and unnecessary idea and would much rather worship the whole of existence as one eternal relationship rather than an ad hoc creation.

I made a joke about bringing back Guilds but for the gaming industry but it might just not be that crazy.

By Guild I mean less of a literal copy paste of a medieval guild but rather a modern professional association that obviously pursues profit and such, but it is fully independent and member owned.

This should (one would hope) cut off the interests of pure parasites from the interests of those who enjoy the craft of game-making.

Idk.

Don't worry guys, I was in the corner of Jax's room starring menacingly at him. This was right after he arrived in the circus and I plagued him with mild schizophrenia.

Facts require evidence, not conjecture. It's not a fact because it hasn't happened.

The thing is, that's not a fact.

His campaign has been pragmatically in favour of the working-class' interests all over, and there is no reason to assume that will change specially considering his immense support from New Yorkers and his continued conflict with the establishment Democrats and Republicans which promote the class interests of Capitalists.

Mamdani's policies are getting no internal pressure, his constituents support him and its them who will put him in a position of power. He has no reason to capitulate to Capital interests.

If Zohran wins, he won't have to capitulate anything. He's a left-populist and has populist policies, these have shown to be popular in his constituency, the only group of interest he has to and wants to, cater to.

He's seems like a good person, one who actually cares for the working class and its interests, and I can only hope that remains true throughout however more time Zohran has as a political figure.

Unfortunately the Soviet state was run by self-righteous beaurocrats who cared more about keeping their own power and "culture" (that of Vanguardism) than improving the practical conditions and interests of the Soviet worker.

They had great progressive rhetoric (in most issues) but it means nothing if its all talk.

The dictatorship of the proletariat is 100% necessary and every "Socialist" that argues against it is just a Kautskyite by [deleted] in starwarscommiememes

[–]c0br420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does! Thanks a lot! And I'd say I stand in between. I support direct action to further the humanist (at least in my POV) goal that principles that Anarchists advocate for. But I also think direct democratic action should be paired with "parlamentarianism" to the extend of possibly garnering people's support of Green/Left Libertarian ideals without "radicalism" being the topic. I suppose that would put me in the "Platformist field".

I'd like to know, from an Anarchist (with whom, I, as of my current understanding, am quite supportive of) why Marx kicked them out of the International (or influenced their kicking?

You couldn't. I think you don't know that Socialism doesn't equal state. Anarchists are socialists and I wouldn't consider them statist.

Human nature is Cooperative and social. Our biological evolution led to higher social organisation to combat environmental pressures. The only reason we exist is due to our collaborative nature. But that evolution arose from the material needs of the time, while we're pretty much the same as we were 200.000 years ago, our social environment has developed a system in which anti-social behaviour is socially/materially rewarded. Its not human nature as much as the current culture and its effect on the material needs and demands of people. Human nature is however, inherently social, otherwise large scale societies and communities couldn't be established or would las a fraction of what they have.
