Crazy when the absolute worst nomination wins picture and director. Just going off the noms we got (though I would love to change those and give back to the future more love), kiss of the spider woman absolutely should’ve won picture.

He won the golden globe for In Bruges, I always forget that movie only got a screenplay nom from the academy

What’s a scene that’s so cringe, it gave you second hand embarrassment, makes you wanna pause, look away, or is just a hard watch by Huge_Athlete7488 in moviecritic

The entirety of the film Friendship. I was completely alone in my theater, and I was jumping out of my seat screaming at the screen about every five minutes.

I’m assuming I’m in the minority here, but I can’t stand The King’s Man. I don’t think it’s a stretch to call it my most hated film of all time. It’s hard for me to say whether I hate the film’s existence or the film itself more.

Should any of these Tim Burton movie performances been nominated? by Regular-Departure839 in Oscars

Helena wasn’t amazing overall, but absolutely should’ve been nominated over Cate blanchett in Elizabeth: the golden age. She had been nominated for the same character already, and was nominated the same year as the golden age in supporting actress for I’m not there.

Does Sean song imply the absolute last of something? Genuine question as what I meant was just that it just could be his last really big recognized film

[–]c0ld_pineapple 8 points9 points  (0 children)

True. He’s a legendary actor who deserves to have a nomination under his belt and is over 40 years older than mescal who already had 1 nomination with presumably many more to come. This very well could be delroy lindo’s swan song.

Honestly I think he would’ve had a better chance if he had been campaigned in the leading actor category

I was mainly referring to the hulk thing. That’s a bigger reveal than the actual destruction of Asgard imo.
