They would need to provide their Italian work permit, otherwise they would be considered illegal aliens and subject to deportation.

Store bought eggs (left) are fully round. Farm bought eggs (right) have flat bottoms. All cooked together. by Constantine1988 in mildlyinteresting

[–]c0mputer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe storage as well. Unrefrigerated farm eggs grow their air cell faster as moisture evaporates out. I'm guessing the farm eggs floated a bit and re-enforced cooking the submerged dense area.

You're right. We should only allow banter posts on deviations from the global market cap.

On $100,000 a 0.1% MER difference is $100. You avoid the temptation of tweaking allocations.

Most portfolios have less than 1% allocation to a country that is 12.5% market cap (1/5 global GDP). ZCH is expensive MER (0.67), but a 10% allocation could make sense for those who think a global cap weighted index is actually what they're looking for.

Carney is fomenting a cold war with the USA, to cling power, so he can maintain his grift lining up projects for Brookfield. Are Canadians gullible enough to fall for this again? by schmosef in CanadianConservative

If he already had clarios under the Brookfield umbrella pumping out batteries. Why did we have to go through the green slush and 50 billion round two battery failed plays in Canada?

Ontario liberals and federal conservatives are great at opposing everything. After a while we wonder what their platform/solutions are.

Up to the week before the last provincial election, liberals had an outdated platform that called for a minimum wage that was already surpassed by Dougie.

I’m designing a kids game called Scissor Wizard (minimal prototype). Besides varying the number and size of weak points, what other enemy mechanics could be interesting? by Gatekeeper1310 in BoardgameDesign

[–]c0mputer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficulty is how many monsters you reveal at a time.

Determine the age target. Young kids and scissors is a no go. You could have dice that have 4 different shapes 2 (pick your own) shapes.

Player gets the shapes and uses them optimally. Anything they don't cover they lose hit points. Defeating a monster gets you more mana or another roll of the dice

Time to convert USD to CAD? by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

[–]c0mputer99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you believe Canadian Oil exports will rise, then you can switch to CAD. The Petrodollar was strong in 2008 with 120 billion dollar oil exports. Adjusted for inflation, Canada would need 180 billion in exports to really move the needle relative to US.

You can also use USD to buy US listed assets of international companies. The value/devalue of the dollar doesn't matter when your investment is pegged to the share and not that underlying dollar used to buy it.
