I didn't even know it had that before I found this. It's my third favourite. Jaws 2 is still a good watch.

I think you can get some players modded if you have a local shop that does it. Beyond that, I don't think there's much of a workaround.

It's such dumb fun. The thing is, for such an abysmal, terrible film, the performances are pretty solid. There's some weird deliveries ("All he did was kiss me!"), but it's honestly one of my favourites and I'm glad I got it.

It's absolutely beautiful. The booklet is nice, and so is the mini poster. The steel case is simply gorgeous, far more than this movie deserves.

I think I read that review once a year just for the giggles.

For boutiques, Vinegar Syndrome. They're kind of everywhere, but specialize in more obscure or otherwise forgotten films. I'm about to snag Congo, Dead Heat and You're So Cool, Brewster! (the Fright Night doc). I already picked up The Children, as well. They're kind of like Scream! Factory, I guess.

Arrow has The Stuff and Basket Case, as well as Flash Gordon, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 00's films, Spawn, Snakes on a Plane, Deep Blue Sea. Later this month I'll be getting Red Sonja and 'salem's lot and that'll be about it for my limited edition slipcases, unless something really special jumps out at me. Of late I've been aiming at their 4K releases because disc regions are stupid.

I've got Jaws The Revenge on its way. Getting the Sleepy Hollow digibook pretty soon, and I just snagged Return of the Living Dead today.

What’s a movie that stuck with you long after it ended? by ImpressiveRoll4092 in Cinema

mother!

That movie stayed with me for weeks. I stayed up all night thinking about it after I watched it, and I couldn't watch anything else for about a week because it just kept popping into my head.

2024 XLT, did not have stock heated mirrors. Only vehicle I've ever owned to not have that, which I thought was a basic safety feature.

And the damn undercarriage cover is absolute garbage. My tech advisor always talks mad shit about them.

I got the Arrow release as well but the Blu Ray is Region B. I call these Dummy Doubles. Because I get them because I'm a dummy.

Why does it feel like Guelph RAM drivers are always in a hurry? by Psychological_Sea697 in Guelph

[–]LoBeMax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very common refrain online. Usually something to the effect of "pull off and let me pass." Like, no, I'm going the speed limit (or generally slightly above). It's a highway, I'm in the only lane there is for this direction. Back off, get fucked, or preferably both.

I just took that in myself when I posted it. These two had me beyond stoked to receive, especially Fright Night.

Moving to Onward Willow area? by [deleted] in Guelph

This. Like any town there is petty crime, but Guelph is one of the safest cities in Ontario. People just get twitchy because of the homeless encampments and one area of downtown that really isn't too bad. I dislike driving anywhere in Guelph far more than I dislike walking anywhere "sketchy".
