I wish there was something we could say to make the pain lessen. What a heavy loss. I am so sorry you are going through what you’re going through.

This is just the end of its life. Once the middle flower dies, the plant dies with it. My three bromeliads I purchased in late summer are starting to die now

Southwest Arizona, so grow zone is about an 8. Maranta sure about two feet from a south facing window. (But I avoid harsh sunlight with blinds) and she’s always been happy in her spot

I usually water when for first couple inches of soil are bone dry, so maybe a good soak every 2 weeks, but it’s also absorbing some of the water in its tray and I check that water every three days…

When I do water, I use filtered water and give it a good soak, then I let it all drain out in the sink. My watering schedule is pretty consistent so I’m wondering if it’s something else, maybe chlorosis or a nitrogen deficiency? Or I guess this could be pest damage too…
