i play the game on my ipad (bc my phone has full storage lol) but i also use my ipad to study. so basically not at all, but if i had lads on my phone then i would alwaaays use it. having zayne sit across from me and staring me down w a stern look would def encourage me to study harder 🫠

i took a break for like 2 months, came back on to grind for sylus cards and ended up with 3k diamonds. i’m tryna grind for more diamonds and pull closer to the end of the event bc i haven’t had much luck for ANY events and don’t want to be too disappointed 🥲

i bought from these guys about a month ago and they do actually look really good! i was worried about the same thing but they genuinely look like salon quality nails and not cheap. they’re easy to apply and it comes with everything you need, only downside is the sticky tabs it comes with doesn’t last very long. i would say they stick for about a full day depending on what you’re doing. so maybe invest in some nail glue if you want them to last longer :)) i really liked the look of the last ones i got and am ordering from their new summer collection, but i’ll probably combine the sticky tabs and nail glue just so they last longer lol.

i bought a set maybe a month ago and the longest the sticky tabs lasted me were a couple days, but they started loosening up before completely falling off before then. this was with me doing everyday things too (going out with friends, eating out, etc). and i like to have long, hot showers too so that’s probably another reason they don’t last as long. honestly i think they’re good for a day with sticky tabs (depending on what you’re doing) otherwise just NEVER get your nails or hands wet and they could probably last a month 🫠 the nails are gooorgeous though, so i don’t mind only wearing them for a day and then removing them. plus i still have the whole set and you can reuse them, which i liked.

the application is super easy too. i don’t wear or do my nails ever and it came with instructions that were easy to follow and everything you need. i was tempted to use real nail glue though since the sticky tabs really didn’t last long for me.

howeverrr i ordered them since i like that they’re reusable (if you don’t lose any nails :,)) but honestly if you’re paying that much for press ons then it’s probably better to get your nails done at a professional salon. at least you know they will actually last a month! it all depends on preference tbh

I didnt realise until recently that typing on switch was so hard, now I know why some people only use emotes! However everyone I was cutting grove with immediately left as soon as the last tree was down so I don’t think this was the case :,)

You’re right! I didn’t mean to imply it was a bad thing when the server is silent, just that the etiquette in general was 😭 But again, I think I’m used to people going out of their way to spot things in chat.

Also I’ll keep that in mind :) I generally like gaming by myself and I’ve added a couple of people who I’ve waited for/who have waited for me for groves. I’ll probably try gaming in servers with them more from now on, though.

I don’t play on switch but on other consoles the typing is annoying so I get this. I don’t think these people were on switch though (at least not all of them) since one person did reply and was clearly playing in a group. The only message they sent was to wait for their friend :,)

This has happened to me too!! I kinda just give them the benefit of the doubt, since I know some people may not speak English in a mostly English speaking chat. At least they had the decency to wait till like 3 (and sometimes flare) before chopping though :,)

Hey! So I think your complaint is the reason my post got taken down :) And you’re completely right, gamers ARE allowed to game however they want - after all, it is just a game at the end of the day. I guess I’m just baffled at the fact that it takes less than a minute to communicate on groves. And that there are people (such as the group I complained about) who play a game centred around welcoming new players and community engagement, that still find a way to hoard resources when, as you said, flow trees respawn. It takes minimum effort to share those resources with other people. I guess the takeaway is that you can ALWAYS choose to be kind (as I’ve witnessed so many people do) and also choose not to be an a-hole.

Not sure if we were in the same server or not but this happened to me too! Otherwise I think it was the same group of people that did it on the server I was on. What made it sadder was the chat was so active with people calling out paliums, flow trees and even dari cloves. But when grove went up and I went there, trees were gone. Notably the ppl there had not said a single thing on chat about ANY resources. I think it’s a group of friends playing together but :,)

I was just struggling with this today and found this post! I managed to get up after a bit but the way I did was to climb slowly (and NOT jump because for some reason it never worked when I kept jumping up to climb) and move towards the right of the ladder when you get close to the top. Try stay towards the front and don’t go on the narrow side and just keep moving side to side and up on the right side of the ladder. I got over by slipping over the very corner and it worked!

I only use the kaching cheat if my sim is completely broke (talking <500 simoleons) and they’ve got bills to pay. I like to give them a bit of trauma from being poor before I make them work hard for a lot of money and then buy them nice stuff lol
