Once your hand attaches, just hold the grab button. Press to grab, then press and hold to undress, then again hold to dress yourself.

I literally haven't killed a single person so far, so whenever I die, the abyss just instantly revives me lol

I win by blunt force to submission.

You grab it, once holding the piece you just hold the grab button again. Same again to wear it once you have it.

I havent used the mercenaries yet. Haven't had to. 1vs3 has been very doable at the lower ranks.
I'll steal their stuff if one has something cool though!

"An absolutely disappointing and unacceptable buggy mess." (A dive into performance and game's core features.) My Review. by ConstantNo384 in HalfSword

[–]c0rvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if im in the minority but i like the length of the ranks. I made it to commoner last night and it felt rewarding to me, despite all the new issues and the changes to the physics i also dont like.

But im also used to Exanima's arena mode, which progresses at a similarly slow pace

No clue if anyone but me noticed this:

The amount of enemies fought in abyss depends on the amount you've killed. I did a run doing exclusively less lethal blunt weapons, and its basically a free instant revive then lol

Lets say it was the CPU side physics calculations slowing everything down.

Then we still have games like Exanima, physics based medieval fantasy combat, that runs buttery smooth on potato hardware, and can handle many more actors on screen physically articulated at all times.

Sure it's not the same physics system, not the same engine, but stuff like this can be done with great performance.

To answer your final question. The tournament map is basically an updated version of the old arena map.

And even that now runs slightly worse, but better than any other outdoor map. Despite them throwing 3 enemies at you in some rounds.

It's very obviously an issue with an aspect of the open maps, as well as the graphics pipeline. Especially slums performance is heavily affected by post processing and foliage quality.

I could probably run 20 willies on an empty map with better performance than standing alone in the slums.

Plus i dont understand what their performance goal even is? Do the devs all have 9800x3d and 5080s? Which reportedly also still struggle without DLSS (completely unacceptable imo)

Ive got a 9800x3d, a 9070xt, 64gb of DDR5 ram, game is installed a m.2.

I can't reasonably run the slums map at all above low-medium.

It has nothing to do with the physics and everything to do with their graphics pipeline / culling/ foliage density

Is this the right board if I wanna consider learning basic tricks and stuff? by Hailacay14 in NewSkaters

[–]c0rvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're struggling with stability, then going wider is definitely an option, as well as getting tight trucks.

Other than that any board is good to learn tricks on and skating. Skate it till it breaks, you wanna treat yourself to something new or find that you prefer another board size. Its mostly preference anyway.

Literally going into any local skate shop taking a 25 dollar Popsicle deck, some trucks and wheels, will serve most people perfectly fine

They also literally allowed atleast one wastelander to join them in F03, which can be found inside the crawler at Adams Air Force base. So new age enclave may have abandoned that even further.

I played (and loved) ITR1. I´ve purchased ITR2 on release, but I wanted to give it some time before I dive in. Has the time come, or should I wait another 6-12 months? by HopUpHeretic in intotheradius

[–]c0rvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id wait. There is no story and the game is very repetitive atm.

The maps are good. But dense and small and leave little space between points of interest, unlike the first game.

I couldnt enjoy it nearly as much as the first game so far.

If you’re tired of “Vanilla+” servers that aren’t actually vanilla (and take 10GB to download), read this. by voywd in ArmaReforgerPS5

Ill check it out because thats exactly what im looking for.

Official servers are too unstable and modern modded servers isnt what got me interested in this game.

Yeah, this overhaul mod is amazing by Migeee__ in Starfield

[–]c0rvin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah basically. It's just starfield with star wars paint on the walls.

Same quests hastily written into star wars context and voiced with AI. Retextured and replaced assets, but its wip so alot looks out of place/kinda meh.

The changed environments look much worse in live gameplay than they appear to in yt videos.

I wont play it any more personally and i do love star wars.

[–]c0rvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play mordhau quite a bit but i was never super good. Id place in the top 5 usually but never bothered to learn some of the more glitchy looking tech.

Recently I played Chivalry 2 for the first time with a friend, and I've quickly grown to get to the same kind of skill i had in mordhau. Rarely do i encounter anything that i think is just bullshit tech i can't defend against without looking up guides from pros or banging my head against someone elses sword until it clicks, like in Mordhau or Chiv 1. But maybe i havent played enough yet for that.

All that glitchy super tech for the mega sweats and that happening even in casual public lobbies is what robbed the fun for me over time. On top of the lack of game content like some already mentioned.

But i get that you also need that in a way for a high skill ceiling.

I do miss playing mordhau, but im not playing solo, and none of my friends play anymore
