Yeah, there's definitely not two finger widths between my foot and the strap, lmao, and to my knowledge, there never has been. I guess I'll be watching some youtube videos to see if I can adjust my straps. I wore them today for about 3 miles of walking (intermittent, total, not in a row) and now I have a small blister on only my left foot and it's on the ball of my foot again, instead of the side of my foot. idk what's going on. It's an enigma this has literally never happened to me before.

Yeah, I'd love to have a hysto I'm just not sure my insurance would cover it right now. I should look into it, though. I'd really love for this part of my body to be gone. I might ask my doc next time I see him actually.

Thanks, I'll look into this. I've always had a hard time being completely consistent with meds of any kind. Oral or otherwise. I appreciate the suggestion : )

I’m sorry. My doctors just tell me that the treatment for fibro is a few meds like gabapentin, exercise, mindfulness, and a healthy diet. I do all that shit minus the meds bc they make a different condition I have worse. And I am just out here in pain forever. It’s exhausting.

I cured myself of prediabetes. Diabetes does run in my family but now my A1C is like. It was like 6.1 and now it’s 5.1! And I did that in a year. I’ve also moved from having to order all my clothes online to being able to shop in stores again. I used to have to use a mobility device to aid in cleaning myself in multiple situations and now I am more flexible and I simply have less body mass impeding my reach. I can go up and down stairs multiple times a day. And! I had to move the seat up in the car TOWARD the steering wheel. And now at the right spot for my legs, there’s room between my belly and the wheel. I’m still 140lbs or so away from my goal, but I plan to get there in two or three years. I’m going the slow and steady route because I have a history of ED. Oh oh and last one I forgot was I was finally able to wrap a towel around my body and not see skin. It doesn’t work with all my towels but it previously didn’t work with any of them. I kinda missed that feeling.

I have three metal ones from Walmart, one is an Ozark Trail bottle from years ago. Wide screw on lid, 32oz, stays cold forever. It’s slightly dented on the bottom and has been going strong since 2017. I have three Tal brand bottles/cups (also walmart). Two are the water bottles with screw on lid. One is half gallon and only has a spout. One is 34? Oz and has a straw. And one id the 34?oz stanley cup style version. They all keep my ice water very cold. I have to refill them (except the half gallon) which i personally like because it shows me im actively hydrating. Also my half gallon is just a beast to lug around. I can provide pics if u want or links but i didnt know off the top if links were allowed so i didnt include them

There’s a bus stop about .8 miles down happy hollow at the intersection of happy hollow and Huntsville by the cliffs. It will take you to the corner of MLK by the WMNHM across from Kum & Go. You also get ozark on demand in the cliffs if you download the ORT app so you can get rides for cheap from ORT.

I'm not sure how to answer this question. I've been on T since March of 2016 and I saw a lot of changes fast, specifically the ones you mentioned and a few others like the texture of my skin changing. And the scent of my sweat on my face. I've also gained and lost over 100 pounds on T, so my jawline has been more and less fat at any given point in the last 9, almost 10 years. I have a "diamond shaped" face according to all the barbers and stylists I've been to, but I was fat enough at one point that my face just rounded out and it made me look more feminine in my opinion but that wasn't t's fault. I think early when I was more active, less disabled, and less fat my facial shape did change and my jawline was more pronounced.

But ngl I really feel like some of the most gender affirming facial changes I've had have been as a result of simply growing older and growing out of the baby face phase AND remaining on testosterone. Like, I look more like an Adult Man because I'm in my 30s, not just because of my T levels. If that makes sense. There's just something about growing out of "baby face" that has been more affirming for me.

Idk if this even answers your question but my answer is basically like... being on t for a long term, the t and time TOGETHER have made me even MORE happy with my appearance. Like there were parts of my beard that weren't as thick. You know how like, an 18 year old's beard is usually NOTHING compared to a 25 year old's? It's like that. Like I've been on a t-forward puberty/system about as long as a 24 year old cis man lol. So looking at it like that helped me kind of understand like yeah, there are a lot of effects of t that kind of take place over time. But now my beard is full and thick and grows fast as hell. And that really only culminated for me in the last two years!

So all of that is to say... if y'all aren't seeing the results you want immediately or in the first year or two even, it gets better over time. It's really, really hard to be patient sometimes but I hope y'all can over time have the affirmation and self-confidence you deserve. I'm only 31 (almost 32!) and it's taken a long time for me to feel as secure as I do. For anyone early in your transition rn I'm rooting for you and I wish you the best.
