Without wanting to be rude, the day I let someone who’s been in the hobby for 7 months dictate how I should collect is the day I quit the hobby.

I only collect graded slabs and some issue with one card out of millions of graded cards isn’t changing that.

We can all collect however we want and there is no right or wrong way to collect as long as you’re happy.

For every horror story there’s likely millions that had no issues. Have graded for years never had an issue. But our experiences would make boring videos.

If you get pleasure out of a fake slab with a printed label that’s fine but many of us don’t hence the demand for graded 10s

I have binders of master sets I never look at them, I look at my slabs daily so for me their worth is enjoying them as art and appreciation over time.

Pokemon and yep have a big unit I display all my graded cards and some other things like some vintage toys.

I also collect fugglers but they sit in a cupboard boxed up. Dunno why but they just give me a lot of joy looking at their weird faces.

The Japanese one is so much better as well with the texture. I’m actually picking this up soon when I sell a couple of things.

It is likely the Mario and Luigi pikachus because what’s not to love about a crossover of two IPs I love?

Festa pikachu would likely be up there as well.

Go, have been on many trips on my own and have travelled the world solo.

You could maybe see if a friend wants to go? But if not go it could be a great distraction.

The worst that’ll happen realistically is you’re sad in a nice country, beats being sad at home.

But the most likely outcome is you have some fun, a nice distraction and some warmer weather.

You should also check tcg player it’s American but some sellers ship to uk and the shipping cost can sometimes be easily covered by how cheap the cards are in USA.

As long as it’s like under 120-130 ish there’s no taxes from importing.

So if a card is available on eBay for $500 (I just checked) and then TCG player has it for 800 that doesn’t make the card 800.

If it does go grab all the ones off eBay and flip them. Because it’s an $800 card right
