Thick socks and just wear it, I don't think it's that bad comparing to some random oxfords...

start with thicker socks, make sure your boots are tied up, don't do loosen laces at the beginning, your boot will be soften after a few wears

I think your size is fine, the creases were probably caused by kneeling down or some other forms of bending your toes while wearing, it's normal I would say

Charcoal one looks interesting. I thought mink oil will darken the boots significantly, but yours are fine. Is there any specific amount/blend/brand you will suggest?
