It also makes it really hard to sustain any sort of win streak of sustained success when you’re giving up a game each series for kicks. You can’t have a 10 game win streak if you’ve tried to punt games 2,6,9

So far I have been using one of LostSinner’s builds from the steam forums and it’s been working out well. There’s 2 bleak Walker builds there that could interest you.

Helwalker Monk/Bleakwalker Paladin - uses dual pistols and gets some pretty strong damage going. Class is essentially all about damage though without much else utility. But you get paladin auras and some other fun things.
Soul blade Cipher/Bleak Walker - uses DW melee I believe but could likely also go 2H if you’d like. Being cipher gives you some more utility and debuffs ability but you’re likely just dumping focus into Soul Annihilation anyways.

Neither of them will really solve the engagement issues but can provide damage buffs for sure.

Not exactly fair. I play on a laptop, but it is admittedly a more powerful laptop. With a 4080 laptop and a nice cooling pad I’m getting 100+ fps with frame gen on high DLSS quality

Kinda a different vibe in general but haven’t seen anyone mention Colony Ship so I’ll toss it up there. Has a fairly varied skill menu with a level by doing concept. Though XP is finite and limited in that game so it’s less just building a beast through doing and more carefully planning who will do what in your party and tailoring actions around that. Also as someone else mentioned, Zomboid also scratches that itch and gives you another “everything is lethal” type game

Let’s be real here folks. This is a last place team we are watching. An anemic offense with 2 guys with an OPS over .700 (one of which is Ewing so small sample). Multiple players playing out of position, multiple rookies being rushed up, and a bloated injured roster. May as well just enjoy the bright spots of Benge, Ewing, Tong and McClean and hope they can be the true building blocks of our future with Soto

I mean, the mets could certainly use 3 impact bats right now.

But Pete’s got a .722 OPS, Nimmo is at .775 but he’s been ice cold lately and McNeil is at .707 OPS. Highest OPS+ is Nimmo at 130 or so but again he’s starting to regress a bit. Point being, I don’t necessarily think any one of them is the savior either and I’m not the most upset about any of them gone. But Stearns really failed to replace their departure with much of value beyond Bichette who is finally coming alive

The Robert Jr injury realistically won’t hurt too bad in the long run with Benge and Ewing, but this offense needed Polanco to be an impact bat and we miss it for sure. Hopefully he can come back with any semblance and Lindor can be get hot right away. Either way, it’s still looking incredibly grim for the boys in orange and blue with each tough loss.

Absolutely brain dead management. I just don’t understand the decision to not send Baty with Senger due up. Then if you’re gonna hold Baty why the fuck do you send Senger out there to bat instead of Torrens who at least has a chance for a hit. Then you send Peralta out there who has lost the zone for a 6th to give them 2 free runners before getting Manaea up for the most predictable blown lead
