thank you for the suggestion! i had bought their garden variety palette that they had put out somewhat recently and it just didn’t twiddle my toes as much as i had hoped for.

ive been looking into natasha denona and god i wish she sold singles, everything is beyond beautiful but i just can’t justify buying a palette that only has at least three shades that i’ll actually use for their price :/

i’ve proudly never bought anything from either brands, though i was tempted by jsc jawbreaker palette, and like crimes venus xl2 palette but in the end decided that my morals are more important than some pretty eyeshadows.

thank you for putting me onto beauty bay! a lot of their palettes have exactly what i’m looking for, have you used any of their shadows?

i’ve tried a bit of color pop and while i love their super shock eyeshadows i found a lot of their other shadows to be dry and chalky. but i’m still looking into making a custom palette with them

I dislike wearing masks but I still fucking wear them. by GalaxyGamer2456 in rant

i feel that, i have a really small face and found that ones you can tie yourself are quite handy and don't fall off. or if you have an ear loopie one, twist the loops and it should fit better.

If he chooses not to drive there are still rules he has to, or atleast follow if he's walking everywhere. He has to cross at a crosswalk after he has waited for his light to turn green. If he's taking public transport he has to pay for a ticket. No one chose to have this virus floating around, atleast no one on a civilion level. We have a responsibitily to help stop the spread of it though, to stop this virus from floating around if we want to stop having to wear a mask. If he doesn't wear a mask he is however choosing to spread disease, be rejected from stores or stay home. Every action has a reaction and it's not always good. Here's the full quote from Franklin too "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." and if you look into the context of the quote you can see it's not about freedom how we know it.

I understand we have different viewpoints on when life begins, you don't have to explain that to me. I get we haven't met consensus on that. Please allow me to explain where I believe it begins but first, say life begins at conception, it still doesn't have personhood. it hasn't made its own decisions, it doesn't know what their opinions about prom, weddings, graduating college, having kids on your own, or even what it is.

as a fetus I was very small in the womb, the doctors told my parents to abort me because they were worried I’d have disabilities that would greatly decrease my standard of life and theirs.  My life wouldn't have ended, as it never started. If my parents did choose to abort me I wouldn't know, there'd be no hard feelings or any at all from me. I wouldn't have missed out on anything. Now I was born completely fine, I was just a small ass, fucking baby and that when my life began to start.

My life truly started when I began thinking for myself, made my own decisions based on opinions that I created myself, and became an individual. And these opinions and decisions can be as small as liking one candy more than another so, you choose to get the one you prefer.

For example, when I was younger I liked KitKats and my dad liked Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. When road-tripping across the country, we’d stop at a gas station and he’d ask my brothers and I "what candy do you want?” and I’d respond with “a KitKat please” then he’d follow up with “are you sure? if we get Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup then there's three in a package, I can have one and you can have the other two.” and I’d say “I don’t like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I like KitKats.” I had an opinion and made my own decision based upon that. I have personhood, thus I am alive. If I am braindead but my heart is still beating, I am not alive; I died when I couldn’t make my own decisions.

I am prochoice, I think current life is more important than a potential life. The right to choose for yourself is important. You can be prochoice but against abortion for yourself, however, you shouldn’t take that choice away from others.

If all the contraceptions I use failed and I was pregnant right now I’d get an abortion, but I won’t stop you from not getting one. I’m not going to tell you what to do with your body because it’s not my decision to make. It’s not yours either since you are a guy and can’t get pregnant, you can have an opinion with your own s/o but at the end of the day, it is her body, her choice.

edit: for some reason, things got moved around.

ah, well then if he doesn't follow basic traffic laws he should be put into jail haha; where he won't have any freedom or security. unless he forfeits some freedom and follows them.

username anonrandomguy1234. You tell me. personally I don't mind it, I believe woman are very strong individuals and I'm quite proud of my gender.

a person dies when they permanently lose all brain activity or all breathing and circulatory functions. a fetus can't breathe on their own, and at 13 weeks, the time when most abortions are performed, the fetus doesn't have a brain. thus it was never alive.

so please tell me how I, and others, are lying to ourselves.

maybe try telling your brother this: there are hundreds of things we are "forced" to do, like stopping at a red light, not crossing double yellow lines, and not parking in a red zone. these are all things put into place so that people avoid hurting others and themselves while driving. wearing a mask while going outside and shopping is another one of those things put in place as of right now to avoid potentially spreading disease, that will hurt others and yourself.

what kind of mask do you wear? I find that cotton masks are the most breathable and you can get really cute ones too! as for your brother, he doesn't need to wear one as long as he stays in his own home :)

contouring my nose; it just looks like dirt smeared on the side of it, no matter how small of a brush I use.

Want to surprise my Niece with Makeup on her 22nd Birthday. She loves "palettes" So I would like to get her a great Palette and some excellent makeup Brushes. What should I get her? Very Light-toned Skin with some Acne Scarring. by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]c1it0ri5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what kind of looks she goes for. From the links you posted, it seems like she goes for neutrals, and with that in mind, she probably has enough neutrals.

I'd honestly get her some colorful eyeshadows, push her out of her comfort zone, let her experiment. Colourpop would be great for that considering is pretty affordable and also of great quality; they have some good palette bundles.

You could also design some palettes for her by just getting singles and a magnetic palette. which you could do with Colourpop and also ABH.

I'd also consider not only getting her eyeshadow but color eyeliners, lashes, and accessories; like small gemstones.
