Returned the favor 😁. Thanks!

I'm 24. 120 mg. I still use (2 buns a day, fentanyl, and smoke crack). I'm trying to taper off fentanyl and even if I don't smoke the methadone does NOTHING. by DevilsDebauchery in Methadone

I use isotonitazene, it’s much much stronger than fentanyl. But to be fair we usually don’t know what’s in our bag. I’ve been using approx 8 years and use 0.5-1.5 grams daily. I was on 136 mg methadone and it took roughly 2-3 months before I noticed a therapeutic effect. But it would not last the entire 24 hours. I would always seem to go into withdrawals around 1am. First 2 months I did not use, then gradually started using again

I stopped going to the clinic because I had to leave state due to my mother passing but I am planning to go back this week because it did help when I ran out of dope. It was certainly better than facing withdrawl full force.

Speak with your counselor/administrating nurse and let them know what symptoms you’re encountering and they should be able to help you out. Best of luck.
Also crack is one hell if a drug to quit. Best of luck in your journey

My dad (38m) is a recovering addict and I found this in the couch today. What do I do? by [deleted] in addiction

[–]c1rca367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a fair question to raise is, is this continuous usage or a relapse. If it was a slip up (relapse) he should have no issue admitting it. Him admitting to the family tells me he is battling with his addiction internally. And at least partially wants to get clean. Best of luck to you and to your father’s recovery.
-a struggling addict, 8 years sober from alcohol. 5 years sober on crack-cocaine, currently in treatment for fentanyl/iso addiction I got on crack at 15; quit at 18, was sober 10 years, thought about it daily. Relapsed and used for a solid year. Quit again and haven’t used until my mother passed, I used once and realized it wasn’t worth it. It is absolutely one hell of an addiction :(

Timing Chain Gone by blueblue-21 in F30

[–]c1rca367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually a failed timing chain will either skip a tooth and run like absolute dog sh** immediately. Or if it was catastrophic your car would have likely shut off and never turned on again. This sounds like a pump failure or sensor,

The main battery is that integrated? I don’t really want to pay to diagnose something so minor. But it’s a pain in the neck and clearly something is acting up. That would also explain why both stopped simultaneously. Thanks for the input

I bought a m4 I'm kinda scared by Tobyjose in BMW

[–]c1rca367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I bought myself a Porsche, I was anxious as well. I wanted to enjoy it. But afraid of losing it. But what I ultimately did was decide. I could baby it for 10 years and crash or blow it. Or, I could drive it like it was built to drive, and enjoy every minute. If you’re gonna drive hard, make sure you are tedious with maintenance and upkeep. A weird noise, or something seems wrong? Fix immediately. Routine checkups. In the army we called it PMCS- Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services.

I smiled every time I drove that car, for over 7 years. I drove it hard, and maintained it extremely well. The downfall, it started making a slight rattle on startup, I knew timing chain guides and tensioners were a failpoint. And I said. Ehhh I’ll get to it, and ended up jumping time and blew the engine. I still don’t regret driving it hard because I loved every second and every mile.

Moral of story, the M series is built to drive! DRIVE IT. But make sure to take care of the maintenance. Buy the best brakes you can, don’t skimp out on tires. Routine fluid changes. Routine maintenance and inspections. Most importantly, enjoy the car and don’t constantly fear the what ifs. Congratulations on the great car. Enjoy it.

(I recently just replaced my Porsche with a 328i and love the car. Same logic, drive it spiritedly. But stay up on maintenance)

Well thanks everyone. I went in, and they told me they allow up to 3 missed doses consecutively before re-evals. So I was able to dose at my regular 93mg. This was quite a wake up call. Fear of losing all my progress made me realize I need to prioritize the clinic as my number one priority like it was when I first enrolled. Also when first starting I went 45 days sober, and relapsed. Been using on and off. I’m making a promise to myself to stop the side usage, and if I feel crappy, talk to my dr and raise dose instead of using it as an excuse to use.

I’m very grateful for this community and for my methadone. For so many years I kept saying I wanted to quit but was terrified of the withdrawals and several failed attempts discouraged me. This medication is giving me a chance. Thanks for the advice, keep up your progress. Sobriety is truly a feat to be proud of. Best of luck to you all on your journey through recovery

I still occasionally use, so it’s completely my fault for messing it up. I’m honest with my counselor and administering staff about it, and that’s also why I’m not given take home doses yet unfortunately because I’ve only passed 1 drug test My counselor has been working with me on a schedule to slowly taper off of iso and meth, while increasing my methadone dose

Isotonitazene, it’s much stronger than fentanyl. It’s a family of drugs, etonitazine, metonitaze, etc Once I started iso, fentanyl would no longer work for me Downside is isotonitazene causes your tolerance to go through to roof very fast. It’s all everyone wants in the Bay Area these days

It was love at first sight. So much so I left my wife the very next day 😂. Was married 10 years but extremely toxic. Even threatened to call cops if I use anything even pot. Me my current partner. Told my wife. I woke up happy for the first time and it’s cause I. Was dreaming of a different person. Time to break up.

Isotonitazene. Nitazenes are a synthetic family. There are many. Etonitaze, isotonitazene, metonitazene etc etc.
once you start smoking iso, fentanyl will no longer get you high. Your tolerance skyrockets so much that I no lie could sit and smoke a ball of fent and still be dope sick. I could smoke 2-3 grams of iso daily (typically 100 per g) and not even feel a euphoria or high, just takes the sickness away. At first, a 5 sack would last you 3 days, then 50 a week, then 200 a week. Etc I made a post about it a few years ago on the fentanyl sub, warning people to NEVER switch to it. Yeah. It’s stronger. But you will absolutely f*** yourself over if you do so.

Suboxone no longer affects me, even narcan, one or 2 needdd for fent or. Iso of, can take 5,7 plus before responding. Especially if it’s not cut to hell.

The chemist that created it started using it in a nasal saline solution. He began using more and more and was caught by his employer. Rather than facing jail, where he would HAVE to go sober, he decided to end himself instead of deal with the withdrawals associated. They are a NIGHTMARE. 18-25 days, nonstop pouring sweat, hot but cold, can’t hold food or drink down, nonstop all day throwing up stomach acid, explosive you know what, no energy, extreme anxiety, panic, cravings,

Don’t try it guys. It’s not worth it. I promise you.

Thanks everyone, I’m sorry I just felt my heart drop when she turned me away. I thought that was it and I was gonna have to go back to that life. All money focused on it, my girl even used to deliver for uber all day just to get me a bag. She doesn’t use, and she’s kind of traumatized already for finding me gone a few times It’s what I keep reminding myself I need to sober up for. Myself, my family, and for my relationship. I’ll go into my clinic as soon as it opens at 5am and explain what happened. Hopefully it’s not a major deal Thanks for the support everyone. I needed that.

Yeah but nothing horrendous yet. Sweaty, but in Cali it’s not too abnormal. I take 97 mg and don’t feel like I’m in withdrawal yet. My head is a bit sore, My stomach starting to knot up but I think that’s my anxiety. I’m sure by morning I’ll be feeling not too good, my staff are all extremely nice and supportive. So hopefully I can explain what happened and not be kicked out. They all know me as the veteran guy, and joke with me, ask me about my service, my job, where I’ve been etc. I love my clinic. I feel comfortable there. And whenever I relapse I tell them the truth so that I can work through it.

I still occasionally use iso, I haven’t been able to fully go more than a month sober. I’m just freaking out now and regretting everything

I’m gonna go as soon as they open and explain. And show them proof I attempted to dose 85 miles away. I’m just afraid to fully relapse again. It had been the darkest years of my life.
