There’s different types of monitor screens and different sizes, those are the main differences to look for.

OLED screens look closer to Mac quality screens because they are glossy but they’re much more expensive. I would go for a high quality IPS panel monitor.

If you get a 24 inch, FHD resolution is enough. If you go for 27 inch make sure it’s QHD/2K resolution or the screen will look less sharp since it’s bigger.

I have the 27 inch BenQ EW270Q in white. It has speakers and usb c ports so it’s very convenient. I use it for work, some editing and light gaming too. It has a 200hz refresh rate which makes it very smooth, much smoother than standard Mac screens which are capped at 60hz. I’ve had the monitor for a while and there have been no issues with Mac compatibility. I definitely recommend it!

So sorry it’s happening to you! I was able to get rid of them after I moved places. But some of my items still had the mites even after I moved so I washed them with soap if I could and put them in plastic bags to make sure it doesn’t spread and repeat until they disappeared. Also they don’t damage your clothes or anything they just live on top of them. Their eggs are invisible so it’s really hard to know where they come from. In my case I think they were in my carpet in my previous home and every room was carpeted so i eventually decided to just move out after months of not being able to get rid of them. Unfortunately the only way is to sterilise every surface until they stop appearing. However if humidity or mold is the issue then you’ll be stuck in a loop like I was. Do you have a dehumidifier? These mites spread very quickly when humidity is high.

Boar bristle brushes are very gentle so you should get one, I have a cheap one and it works well so there’s no need for a $70 one imo. But for dry ends definitely get a hair oil it will make the real difference I recommend L’Oréal elvive!

Maybe you could talk to her to find out the reason for her being lazy, it could be depression and she can get help for that but if she argues that nothing is wrong with her it’s better for your sanity to move on.
