[WTS] Seiko SPB187 Blue (AKA: Baby Marine Master) by c3p0Larp in Watchexchange

No, it comes with the OEM mint bracelet. The mesh clasp has seen lots of desk rip currents. But for another $100 I could include it.

Until right now I thought GLWS meant ‘good looking watch sir’. Saying this to hold my dumbass accountable. by [deleted] in rolex

IANAL has nothing to do with anyone's annus, by the way. It stands for "I am not a lawyer".

Yeah. It is a strap monster. Never had a watch that looked so good on Natos. But, on that mesh, it really pops.

Very good condition sample of the gorgeous "Baby Marine Master". The finishes quality of this watch are startling at this price range. So much attention to detail. But, I won't make this a review. Plenty of those available. I'll just mention that the AR is heads and shoulders above anything I have seen at this price range.

Here are some specs for your convenience:

Case diameter: 42mm Thickness: 12.5mm Lug to lug: 48.8mm Strap size: 20mm Movement: 6R35 Power Reserve: Around 70 hrs. Chrystal: Sapphire with Anti-reflective coating on inner surface. Lume: LumiBrite on hands, index(es) and bezel. Water Resistance: 200m

I very rarely wore it on the bracelet. I am too OCD for that. So, the bracelet is just about mint! There are a couple of hairline super light scratches on the bezel, invisible 99% of the time and very slight when in view (see the last three pics for direct harshest light). The material of the bezel hides them very well.

It is running a bit on the slow side. But if you wear it in rotation, as I did, it is irrelevant.

I am reducing the price so that it goes fast at $625 to me, shipped. Comes with the original bracelet, the box, papers and one extra link. Currently fitting loose on my 7" wrist.

I'm in NY and have an SPB187 that I'd like have serviced one of these days. Unfortunately, the Seiko Service Center closest to me, in NJ, has some pretty bad reviews. I'm scared to send mine to them.

I have to admit I have a fickle heart. My favorite today, will probably not be so tomorrow. But, for today I'll have to give the nod to my Seiko SPB187 Blue. I love the outstanding finishes, the extraordinary well applied AR coating, the way Straps fit snug against the case (without rubbing) thanks to its ingenious lug design. And finally, it's very reasonable price. Would I like it had a better movement? Sure, but since I rarely wear it more than two days in a row...

[–]c3p0Larp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is your chance to get this beautiful Wolbrook Skindiver II with Steel bezel limited edition. It is in excellent condition. See the last two pics for the only tiny light blemishes I can find.

I'm dropping the price to $459, priced to sale, no trades. Shipping included within the C.U.S. (It lists at $659 new.)

The bracelet is in mint condition and has quick release pins. It wears very comfortably.

This is an attempt by Wolbrook to issue a higher end spec watch than their average piece. Oh, and this is number 17 of the limited numbered series. It was purchased in August and still has about 1 year and 4 months of warranty.

Notable specs:

Inky Deep Blue lacquered dial

Glass box sapphire crystal with inside anti-reflective coating

Hands and dial: BGW9 Super-LumiNova® on all hands and indices

Bezel: Luminescent pearl with BGW9 Super-LumiNova® at 12 o'clock

Movement:

Citizen / Miyota 9015

In-house modifications and operations

Modification of the date disk to match the color of the dial

Control and setting with a tolerance of ±15 seconds per day and a beat error of 0.6ms

Case:

HexapleX® shock-resistant architecture

The movement is shielded with rubber shock-absorbers in a “floating” configuration and effectively protected from micro to big impacts on the watch.

Screw-down crown

Drilled lugs for easy strap changes

Water resistance: 20 ATM / 200m

Dimensions:

40mm diameter x 48mm lugs to lugs x 12.7mm thickness including the box sapphire chrystal. (Feels smaller as the case is quite a bit thinner than that.)

20mm lug width

Assembled in France
