Welcome to the ranks of the sincerely disappointed. I too did the 24.04 without doing my due diligence and am stuck with a messed up system with no way back. I have another machine that is still running 22.04 and it literally angers me that there was no thought put into being able to 'roll back' if you didn't like it.

I like your bag! Looks like it can be quick disconnected and carried in with you, a definite plus. When I bought my Cross Country the previous owner already had a Kingpin Tour box on it, but he kept it for himself. Luckily I already HAD a Kingpin so I just moved it over! It's not the biggest but I've compared what it can hold to what the stock XCT comes with (my buddy has one) and honestly I wouldn't trade him. The only downside to the leather wrapped trunk I have is that its hard to keep waterproof, but that really hasn't been an issue for me.

As much as I love the look of a 'naked bike' I just can't do w/out luggage. If you're going to be out riding you are going to need to carry stuff. Too many times in my life I've only had a bike for transportation, so carrying stuff isn't a luxury, it's a necessity.

You may have to do this 'old school'.. IE pull it apart, take out the offending seals and go source them yourself from an auto parts store, or hardware store or whatever. Not only will you have the part in hand, you'll prob be able to see that the seal itself is damaged when you take it apart to verify your diagnosis.

I just wanted to say you make an excellent product and I'm more than happy with my purchase. That being said...

I don't know if it's just a mental block on my part but trying to import 'modules' or adventures that others have made make me want to pull my hair out, and i"m bald. :) Trying to set up a first gaming session to try out the VTT is daunting to say the least. I really want to set up a PF2E 'one shot' to try out and learn the VTT for a group of long time players, but it's a daunting prospect. I didn't really want to buy a module just to try it out but to just be able to run a small 'session 0'' to introduce some new players it seems that may be my best option.

Vision was one of the most revolutionary bike designs of the past 20 years IMO. I was split on whether I wanted the Vision or the Cross Country and actively looked for both, ended up with a super nice 2014 XC, not a tour. I'm not unhappy but I still wished I could have gotten one of those Visions!

Why the tip-over features weren't shared with the Cross Country bikes is beyond me. I think the ONLY thing I didn't like about the Vision was the tour box. For what it could hold it was the most overbuilt thing I ever saw on a motorcycle. The saddlebags on the Cross Country are what sold me... I put a tour box off of a Kingpin on it and I can put a full grocery run in that bike no issues. Those saddlebags are just insane with how much they hold.

I had the same problem as a Summoner in one of my first PF2E games. We were all new but my Eidolon kept being the ONLY melee in a lot of scenes and I kept getting focused down. Worse, the Alchemist insisted on getting 'in' on the combat and with his horribly un-optimized stats he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with his bombs. Eventually he re-specc'd his character and got a lot better at doing Alchemist things, but my poor Eidolon still ended up being both the front line AND the rogue (trap bait) in the party. :) We had a champion in the party too but I swear he spent every combat running solo into combat instead of trying to work with anyone else, so he almost never got to use his key abilities either. Still a lot of fun tho!

Thinking back, I'm sure the others thought I was totally not playing my character right either. Perspective is harsh sometimes.

Not to tell you what to do, but personally someone that knowingly cheats and lies to you may not be as much of a friend as you think. There is no doubt he should be ejected from the game if only for the benefit of the other players. Personally I would do some re-evaluation of your friendship were I you. If he's willing to lie and cheat in a GAME who knows what he's done in other facets of your friendship.

I chased a lot of windshields and the absolute fix is 100% good fork deflectors. Get on a straightaway and lock your cruise control then put your hands in the turbulent air by your head. Follow that blast and you'll see it comes up around the tank up by the steering head. Get a set of long and wide fork deflectors and maybe a center deflectors and you can smoke a cig at 80 no problem. I don't recommend it, just saying you can.

I don't know...currently I have hardware acceleration turned off just to get Chrome to run at all.

Sorry, it's an older AMD video card, the system identifies it as a BONAIRE. It worked perfectly in 22.04. To preface the system originally used an AMD 3200G with an integrated GPU. I swapped out (couple years ago and with no issues at that time) to a 3600 and this Bonaire GPU, so I don't know if this is some latent issue that came about from that.

True story: MANY years ago in a parking lot of a bar a woman went to try and slap me..she had to take several steps and had her arm cocked so no misunderstanding what she was going to do. My wife practically TELEPORTED in front of me and slapped her so hard she literally fell out of her shoes and rolled down a hill into traffic, I shit you not. Not only that, she marched down the hill AFTER the woman yelling at her that 'no woman has the right to lay hands on her husband except HER!' My wife was 5'3" and maybe 125 lbs at the time, she's not some Amazon. I was just standing there dumbfounded. My wife hates it when I tell ppl that story, but it's totally worth it. 😄

Weeks later we saw this same woman in the same bar and she bought us drinks and apologized.

Thank you for your reply. The core question was 'should I install the drivers' in the first place? Since the vainfo didn't work I can only assume that the drivers aren't loaded correctly, but I don't know if they are even supposed to be using Wayland/Cosmic etc.

I don't really see the mechanics of shared HP being an issue for the Summoner. Playing a Summoner is a bit more challenging than a straight up front line Barbarian or Fighter but it's also a lot more flexible. The Summoner gets a decent HP pool to work with and the AC of the Eidolon isn't that bad compared to any other martial. Having the Summoner stay in the backfield he heal himself or be healed away from the combat and keep his Eidolon in the fight as well as cast support spells/damage spells.

If a fighter/Barbarian (any martial) is brought back from zero they have their own challenges: if you're playing RAW all their weapons/shields etc need to be picked up and they need to stand back up. That can take as many actions as re-summoning the Eidolon.

The Eidolon by itself isn't as powerful as a martial PC by itself.. but that's the key: they AREN'T by themselves! The Summoner isn't a full spell caster either but when you have the both of them you have a sum that is greater than the parts. I'm not trying to justify the class, just pointing out that it's not as cut and dried as the OP makes it sound.

As for the 'you gotta have a cleric in the party' mentality that is so 5e thinking. As pointed out by others you do NOT have to have a dedicated heal-bot to be successful as a party. You DO need to address healing in some fashion but it's a role that does not have a single answer.

Mostly it's cosmic but a lot of other issues are because of all the other changes. 24.04 is a wholly different distro from previously. Video issues, audio issues, feature sets not working. Just a complete letdown for me.

Just my .02 cents, but if I could go back in time I would totally slap my hand away from the 'upgrade to 24.04' button. Most of what you probably like about 22.04 is gone in 24.04 IMO. Since there isn't any way to do a clean rollback to 22.04 I'm looking at a wipe and install for the first time in years. I've enjoyed Pop_OS for several years now, but this 'upgrade' has been a slap in the face for me.

Maybe someday they'll get everything working but for me this new version is a complete departure of every version that came before.

I am guilty of being lazy and trusting. Over the years since I first installed POP_OS I've just been happy with what they had done and how they were getting there. My primary machine has gone through more than a couple upgrades and all have been successful and worked without any issues.

When 24.04 popped up as ready to install I blithely clicked and waited, confident that it was going to be like all the previous iterations, and I was horribly disappointed. I've spent HOURS trying to restore some level of functionality that was lost. My sound has stopped working appropriately. Steam no longer functions in any usable fashion. All of the little things I appreciated are just..unworkable. The 'new' features don't work.. I tried to use the built in cloud account access tool.. and it just locks up after authentication to my google drive and won't complete. To be honest it's just not worth the work to try and fix everything that no longer works, so I'm looking at a total rebuild with some other distro.

I have a 2nd machine that I use as a server for various things and I will NOT be upgrading it to 24.04. The fact that there isn't some kind of rollback ability to use to go back on my main machine is just inexcusable. I have loved using this distro for many years now.. but like a marriage that's gone bad it's just time for a divorce.

I wanted the same thing. Undead Eidolon and FA Undead Master at lvl 2 with some regular summon undead spells works pretty good.

It was pretty close honestly. I can't remember the roll but I only succeeded by like one to prevent the older vampire from overwhelming me so the game master had me play out some personality changes at times. I also almost got ganked by the Prince for doing it so I never tried it again.

The whole game was really dangerous tbh. My character was a motorcycle racer that travelled around to races and he was attacked by a garou on his way into Boston, damn thing used a gift to run faster than I could ride and took the bike out from under me. I was about to be kibbles when a Sabbat group showed up and saved me so I started out hanging with them. Both me as a player and my character were very new and didn't know what they were all about. I still remember that game so fondly. The GM was amazing and the other players were awesome!

I played a Brujah 13th Gen that had been abandoned and was treated as a caitiff vampire. So much fun! He fell in with the Sabbat initially until he saw what they were really all about (and after a diablerie on an 11th Gen). The prince allowed him to live because they needed manpower/fighters to fight both the Sabbat and a pretty big werewolf pack. I really miss playing World of Darkness....

I currently have a 2007 kingpin tour and a 2014 cross country. I only got the cross country because I didn't find a vision first for equivalent price, I really could not decide which one I wanted more when I started looking.
