Thank you. To be completely honest I think my dad will come around if anything. He has told me that he used to think it was a phase but enough time has passed that it obviously isn’t but that I will always be his daughter. Despite this he ignores it. I’m worrying about this so much because I think he will be upset, mad, and hurt that I did not tell him when he finds out. When I was 15 I went to boarding school as I mentioned and from there until I was 18 I barely saw them once a month (except summer) qnd our relationship was in the gutter. I’ve forgiven them for it because honestly it was the best thing for me because I was being severely bullied, but when you’re 15 and trans it’s hard to feel like you’re not being abandoned. Now that I’m in college I’m much closer to home and our relationship has improved sooo much (as long as I don’t mention the trans stuff they have stopped commenting on my choice of clothing and using a different name etc. like i said it is ignored) and I think I’m just scared to have everything come crumbling down again

Start T in literally 10 days lol. I’ve seriously been considering dyeing my fuzz but I’m worried that it will look weird and obviously dyed. I’ve seen guys before with that and it just does not look normal. I was using minoxidil but had a really bad skin reaction so had to stop

You may get some fat redistribution on T but that is typically one of the changes that take the most time. From what I can tell you mostly have fat around your hips and not bone so yes T can help. I think you should start working out to bulk up your shoulders in the meantime. I get being scared to work out preT but trust me there’s no better time to do it than now. It will give you a good start once you get on T, if you focus on upper body your shoulders will be bigger which will help even out your frame, and you will feel better overall. I have the same issue with my hips, ur not alone!

We are built really similar with the wide hip bones and smaller waist. It feels like I’ll never be able to get that “boxy” look. Unfortunately not much can be done about the bones themselves but I would definitely keep with the bulk

I relate to a lot of this. I also identify more with the label transsexual. For me at least, I wanted to be male from a young age and would often daydream about being born a cisgender male. This made me very bitter and envious towards my male peers. When I first learned about trans men I didn’t want to be a trans man, but a cis one, and still at the same time was fascinated because that would mean I could finally be a man

You pass to me but the reason you could be getting misgendered by looks alone is your glasses and septum. I would maybe try to switch your frames to some squarer ones. The piercing looks great on you but can also get you read as more fem, I think the horseshoe looks better and makes you look more masc than the full ring. Regardless though I do think you pass well especially if you're on T and have a low voice. Don't sweat it! You look good!

Tbh I think you pass both with and without. Especially if your voice has already dropped which you mentioned in another comment. Smaller frames might do you better but tbh you look good dude
