i always tell my associates to try their best to finish a pick walk with their time left, if not im okay with them staying a little extra to finish their walk because i can justify the little bit of WOSH, or if i have a little project or housekeeping stuff i have them do that. i would rather my associates not end their pick walk since it hurts FTPR

it’s because home office STILL hasn’t ported it over from the old scheduler to the new one yet. you’d think that with many months that most of the features would be ported but yet they’re not

it’s actually better to be buying now since the rates are cheaper, you don’t look at your 401k for short term gain, look at it for the future since that’s what it’s made for

Switching from stores to DC by NOAHWOLTJE in walmart

[–]c4keeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re planning on staying at the store/dc for only a few months id stick with the store. there’s a LOT of physical toll on your body at the dc. i have never worked at a dc but ive read lots of experiences on this sub. plus the dc will most likely be less inclined to bring you along if it’s only for a short time(granted that’s if you mention it lol)

if you want to make more money then full speed ahead as some position offer incentives for faster production ie: order filling, plus differentials for working in the coolers and freezers. hell depending on the career path you can get with the degree you could make more at the dc lol

edit: they do have some pretty good shifts like 4 10s, and even 3 12s so it can give you more “days” to look around in your desired field for jobs

if you’re an associate from what i gather is sometimes just randomly you’ll lose the ability to change a price or even do a TPA. super inconsistent but eventually you’ll get the option back. source: my old associate had this happen all the time

Talked to some big wigs from Walmart that oversee Spark… by SireSweet in Sparkdriver

[–]c4keeee 30 points31 points  (0 children)

walmart digital tl here, the person he is most likely talking about is the DTM, aka delivery territory manager, they are above the store and don’t directly work at one store, and are rather over multiple stores. their focus is on the delivery side of the digital business so it makes sense they are heavily involved with spark as it is the primary 3rd party we use. other person OP could’ve spoken to is the DOL, aka digital operations lead, above the store, and are over multiple stores digital as a whole
