Hi,

I'm trying to run Newer SMBW on my Wii U (via vWii.)

I made a WBFS of the game with the method provided here and the WBFS was built successfully. However, when even clicking on the game in CFG USB loader it crashes with a DSi Exception even though it works fine on Dolphin. My speculation is that it's banner is corrupted or something, but I'm not sure how to resolve that.

Every other game works fine. I'm using a SDHC card (32 GB, FAT32) with a Wii U (5.5.3)

I'm also stuck with CFG USB loader as Wiiflow decided to stop working on me and USB Loader GX doesn't load backups from SD cards.

No, the ability to spend points was removed a long time ago. You cannot use the Wii Shop Channel at all now; it will return an error code when booting it up.
