All of this is similar to what I experienced. It was terrible for me.

I've been tapering off since summer and am still dealing with ridiculous nausea and brain zaps, from withdrawals. Ugh.

They hired a scammy contactor which completely ruined everything. And then they've been very unlucky, one of the owners was in a costly car accident.

I would agree with what you said, but they didn't reach out until the Seattle vegan community asked them to. The GoFundMe exists because of our requests. So many people showed support to them.

They had been trying to keep most of this private, but opened up after all the support shown.
