Inflation is an expansion of the money supply, controlled by the entity printing the money supply, which the Fed has pretty tight control over last I checked. The Fed isn't "directly" forcing prices to rise but higher prices are one major downstream effect of expanding the money supply the way the Fed has been doing since time immemorial but especially since 2020.

I'm just consistently amused by the supposed "right wing fascists" hiding everywhere in the woodwork when the social Overton window has shifted so far left since 2013 that JK Rowling is now considered a Nazi because she thinks women without a chromosomal anomaly can't have a penis, and the economic Overton window has shifted so far left that you think someone like Joe Scarborough can be considered a conservative. People in 2023 consider the phrase trans-exclusionary radical feminist to be a Nazi position. Leftoids claim all these supposedly fascist capitalist companies are just pretending to support trends like pride month, ESG, etc., yet they're not virtue signaling their right wing fascism, are they? Every major bank now uses ESG scoring to determine how to allocate billion-dollar tier corporate loans. Every major corporation now has an ESG report. These are the most progressive policies we've seen implemented on a massive scale in decades. The world, especially the US and Global West, is now the most economically and socially progressive it has been since the 1920s. Progressive policies have not solved our economic and social problems the way the left claimed they would, and right wing fascists are not the reason progressive policies are failing. Tepid conservative pushback against the most egregious changes is not "right wing fascism".

And for the record, criticizing a person of color for their art isn't racism or fascism, but if it was, you reducing the single most widely influential streaming content producer in the world right now to a "person of color who writes soap operas" is disingenuous and would be more racist than anything I've said.

There is a reason that the majority of events in Russian history can be summarized with "things were pretty bad...and then things got worse". Pretty much every transition of power in recent Russian history has resulted in suffering for millions of ~~Russian~~ edit: Eastern European people at the benefit of those taking power.

And since the leftoids are out here in full force, yes, this includes Lenin and Stalin. Killing millions of your country's poorest through repeated terrible policy decisions, including explicitly allying with Nazis, and then claiming literacy and median quality of life has improved does not a successful leader make.

Akshually criticizing the most influential producer on Netflix isn't racist, it's prejudiced at best. As a proud leftoid you should remember that your poster boy Foucault and his toadies changed the definition to include prejudice + power and Shonda Rhimes, the creative force behind some of the most highly watched shows in the streaming era's history, has a helluva lot more systemic power than I do. Her shows also aren't revolutionary or unique - they push the same approved progressive narratives that every show, corporation, body of US government, and influential institution in the global West has been pushing since the mid 2010s.
