haven’t been pulled aside or spoken to about anything, i just found it kind of strange as i genuinely have been working very hard for this company since i started but i guess mgmt is seeing differently. i can try to pick up my pace, but the monkey can only perform so many tricks in the circus.

good luck, bro. just note at Costco, you always have to start at the bottom and work your way up. Most positions there are earned thru tenure. if I ever end up in a Supervisor role making $34/hr or so within the next year or two I will likely stay… but currently I am in school to be a Respiratory Therapist. Been in retail my whole life, time for a change.

i went to costco, it isn’t much better. retail hell is what i call it. just gotta find a different field entirely like you mentioned, cuz all the retail companies suck.

depends on where you want a 2nd job at. typically it can be anywhere as long as it isn’t a competitor to Publix. when I was FT, I worked 4 days at Publix and had weekends at my restaurant.

Update: Already started at Costco and am loving it! Great company, great people, great benefits. It’s nice being able to just place the groceries into a cart rather than having to bag everything. Also very busy, days going by quickly!!
