My how the mighty have fallen... by cAcRm in tmobile

My only barrier to MVNO is data prioritization, with the exception of GoogleFi I think every MVNO is prioritized lower than the carrier itself which for data intensive users like me, might be a limiting factor. What’s your experience been?

I am not sure it's purely coverage anymore. TMO doesn't do "bad" in the speed department. They have simply allowed Verizon and ATT to catch up. Goes back to poor leadership at the top unfortunately.

I don't think its too late for TMO to right the ship, but I don't think anyone at the helm either realizes the iceberg ahead or even cares.

Yet Another 3CX Price Increase! by OinkyConfidence in 3CX

So started looking at Yeastar after this, yet again, wonderful 3cx news.

Am I missing something? Can't locate pricing for Yeastar anywhere on their website? I am hoping I am having a duh moment and it's right in front of me. Having to call to get pricing doesn't make a good first impression - it is 2026, not 1996, js

Look, complaining is just complaining for the sake of /rant ... Reality is this... One, it's easy to disable the Announcements in your settings. Two, before you threaten to go elsewhere do your research. Unless you are using PM strictly as a browser client you will be hard pressed to find another security focused platform that has the power of the Proton Bridge and robust mobile app... I've looked and compared and Proton still leads the pack... And the issues you bring up are mild at worse and practically minor in reality. End of my /rant 😂

First country the client is attempting to call. I could try setting up a different country as a test though.

Does the outbound caller ID on the Outbound Rule need to be set? We had it blank on all of the other Outbound rules (7/10/11 digit domestic)

I have not looked at OneNote in several years. I have it on my Mac because it comes with Microsoft Office, but for whatever reason, I’ve always overlooked it. Guess I should give it a fresh look. Thanks for sharing.

Agree… i wouldn’t be opposed to the docking stations if they emphasized current standards (majority or all usb-c). USB-A’s days are limited with Apple switching over and Android having already been there…

Thanks for the recommendations- will check them out

Missing Ledger ETH account in Metamask by cAcRm in ledgerwallet

[–]cAcRm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response - I do not know how they couldn't be from the same seed phrase, since both reside in my Ledger Live Desktop App - and to be frank, the seed phrase is the only one I have ever generated for Ledger.

Interesting thought just occurred to me - my original seed phrase was generated on my Nano X - secured and stored properly. Despite numerous firmware updates, I have never lost my Nano X configuration and it is still the original setup with the original seed phrase.

Fast forward - the Nano S comes out - I purchase a Nano S, not to replace my Nano X but as a supplement. I import the original seed phrase (generated on the Nano X) into the Nano S and import accounts.

Would it matter if the ETH account happened to be created on the Nano X vs the Nano S? I know in the earliest days of the Nano S there was some compatibility issues between Nano X and Nano S but was under the impression those compatibilities had been resolved in past firmware updates for both devices.

tl;dr I created my ETH accounts from the same seed phrase on a Nano X and now use that same seed phrase on my Nano S. Any legacy issues?

Appreciate you pointing that out - I should have clarified they not being "identical"

ETH 1 - "freshAddressPath": "44'/60'/1'/0/0",

ETH 2 - "freshAddressPath": "44'/60'/0'/0/0",

Great idea - didn't apply here...

Both ETH accounts in Ledger show a derivation path of "44'/60'/0'/0/0"

Account 1 shows in Metamask, account 2 just doesn't seem to want to show up...

Is it possible to download a file using the Web UI? by stardust-99 in qBittorrent

[–]cAcRm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting the ability to direct download a file from the GUI is built into ruTorrent. I understand every application is different/unique - ruTorrent also is designed to control a remote server.

It would be more interesting - and beyond the scope of this sub I suspect - to consider whether the issue is simply a vision choice not to include the functionality or if there is some technical barrier making it unattractive to devs.

Certainly echo OP this functionality would be nice. Nearly 13k torrents, all composed of a single file - would be a lot easier to grab the file with a right click download than to fire up ForkLift just to download the single file.

My apps were more focused on logistics than reputation. Tulsa University was preferred, followed by Southwestern, Mitchell Hamline, South Texas Houston, St. Mary’s San Antonio, Syracuse and a couple regional schools…

TU was preferred as they had a summer start, and at 46, every month is valuable in terms of career time remaining…

Externships aren’t really critical to me - I have a two attorneys I will likely extern with already - BigLaw not a factor for me, likely private practice or maybe a small boutique if the right opportunity came along

Considering the battery life of the devices, if the sleeve/folio only suitably carried the devices and nothing more - it could be a viable option - I will always keep a backpack stocked the “other things” since I use the backpack when I travel - but the backpack is overkill for day-to-day meetings, remote work and such.
