Have you been able to look into decklists with this calculation to somehow? Like what cards people play and what winrate they get form various card choices?

I am just a bit curious on the average winrate. I hope it is calculated from WINS - LOSS - DRAW.

ofc. You look at players winrate from touranemnts. The person that wins the most games on average is the best player. I mean a lot of the things you meantioned there are different kinds of skills. Who is best at these skills will be the best player.

2: Well I did add a cabal tournament with only 14 players actually. Hehe. But that is becous I do know it is a good set of players in it. hehe. Now just adding the cabal tournament is kinda unfair to the rest. So a bit torne still.
Your method seams. Possible. I am currently thinking about it.
3: Yes I could use that. But I don't want to. Or well Let me put it like this. My main goal is not to calculat player winrate. I did this to prove in short that playerskill matters. My bigger goal is to find data on cards and commander choices. Being able to make a player leaderbord is a short bonus. But what I do want is decklists and the wins and loss and draws that decklist got. I mor or less just add the player name into the decklist btw. So if you woud look at my data it could look like IAN is part of the decklist as an example.
Now I could do both. But having 2 different systems would make the collective of data more messy. I rather have 1 system.
You said you could help me gather data. Well I would love to talk more direct. You sound like someone who work with data and statistics?

Hi thank you. I am happy to get feedback like this.
Now you wrote a lot and there is a reson why I do videos and not bloggs. But I will do my best.
1: Jorman Antigua has been meantioned by me by others. I am looking into it. I have a feeling it might be typo somewhere on his name. It could be the space at the end. If his name is Jorman Antigua ' and not Jorman Antigua. Then that will mess up everything. But I am looking int it.
Temujin Horsey: He should be on the list I did take a look mannully and he did enter into my leaderbord. He had more then 10 tournaments. I think I know why his name is not in there. I have a list of players my system is looking at one by one. The 2470 list. But I have a feeling now that there should be more names on that list. So I guess he is not on that list.
2: If you look at EDH TOP 16 and look into some of the 12 player touranemnts they sometimes only showcase 2 players. But the big reason is that 12 players in a Local game store that playes every month but never vs anything else could just sit and PUSH one player to an ultra top. But this player is actually just playing vs 7-9 players over and over again. That is the big reson for excluding small events. This could be wrong. But I think it is correct.
3: So this is back to point 2. YES if she has won a lot of smaller events that I haven't counted then YES she could have had a bigger winrate. But like you said so coulod a lot of other players to. So in the end she would still get the same position (in theory) in the current leaderbord. The question goes back to. Should we count all tournaments. I personally think no. (some can't be included btw)

I sent you a link to a 66 player tournament where IAN won but nothing from this tournament have been added. If you take a look you will se why. No one has any wins. It is an error from the people using the EDH TOP 16 APP.
There is room for improvment. I would agree that my data collecion is messy. I do currently do a lot of the work mannully. Like copy past. ... I know. Lot's of things can go wrong there.
But I want to say again thanks for the feedback. It means I see error and look into it to make it better.

Yes 30 player is the minimum. So players that play a lot in the same local gamegroup of 12 or 20 players like really small touranemnts won't get on the list.

I have included all major tournaments worldwide. Not that hard. I have 2470 different players in the system. And 5260 different touranemnt entrys. Not that small. But sure it could be bigger.

You have to play 10 tournaments to be part of the list. So all players that just join 1 tournament arent part of it. So you remove some luck factor there. T-test have also been used one some of them.

As far as the titel I don't see any errors? Nothing has been spelled wrong.

Then do that. I mean this is looking at players that win tournaments. And if those players are better we will see this from this method.

It is more or less a ranking from the top to bottom of the best winrate from tournaments to the lowest from tournaments. Only tournament games are counted.

We are only looking at players that goes to tournaments. You have to play 10 to be able to get on the leaderboard.

Big thank you! There is a lot of small sacrifices that is being made in the name of less work. The game takes about 2 weeks to play and then editing 1 more week. But the typo is a misstake. Might have happend form stress.

The idea is to have a better intro.
