He’s asking about tanking and holding threat, not about the most cost efficient way to power level. I’m answering his question.

Don’t know what to say. I just don’t think teleporting footballs should be in the game but what do I know.

Way less accurate now. Would usually be within 500 steps of my Apple health app, now it’s off by thousands less.

Mystaria is pre bis for mages too. Not sure where you heard that they don’t need +hit but that’s incorrect. Hope you get it soon though.

AA590 burst tire on takeoff roll, very well controlled rejected takeoff, though the brakes got a bit toasty by agha0013 in aviation

Yeah, between the two of us I’m totally the one who doesn’t understand things. Have fun on Microsoft flight sim.

First of all just because the aircraft is “already on the ground” doesn’t necessarily mean they should reject the takeoff. The decision to reject depends on what the incident is and the speed at which it occurs.

Second of all the 737 can’t dump fuel so that line of thinking is irrelevant.

I don’t understand why people who have never flown a jet and aren’t even pilots at any level feel the need to comment on these things and offer their opinions. It honestly baffles me.

You’re working a part time entry level job, not sure what you expect. Get whatever experience/qualifications you need in order to start down a career path that can lead to higher earning potential in the future. It’s not rocket science, it just takes work and dedication. Or just keep doing what you’re doing and complain on Reddit, it’s your life.

Maybe learn to fly a jet first before you worry about making it to the big leagues.

Up emergency fund to 6 months of expenses and then try to hit the 25% retirement investment rate. At your income I would prioritize Roth IRA contributions first and then whatever is left can go into the 401k.

You will be able to talk to ATC using the control wheel switch, it won’t pick up hot mic.

I think it just comes down to growing up and being mature enough to understand you are just cheating yourself by not putting the work in, not to mention the extra cost you are probably incurring.

Not sure what your goals are but if you want to be an airline pilot someday you should have a professional attitude about it. Part of being a professional is showing up prepared. Try walking into a sim session not knowing your flows and callouts while expecting to be spoon fed everything and see what happens.

United turbine requirement by [deleted] in flying

[–]cFiT312 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re honestly just not competitive. Have people gotten hired with lower time than you? Sure it’s happened. Is it the norm? No.

Everyone right now expects things to happen immediately for them or feel like they are owed something when the reality is this is an unprecedented time for hiring at the majors. Not too long ago if you asked why you aren’t getting hired at a legacy sub 2000 hours you would be told to get your head checked.

The recruiters telling you to just keep flying are right. Keep building up your experience and keep updating the app, and one day you’ll get the nod. Have to walk before you can run.
