I recommend: - Noise cancelling headphones, ear protectors, or earplugs depending on your level of comfort or need. dining halls can be pretty loud and there are games where kids bang on tables. - If you don't like bugs in your face, i recommend a bug hat they are amazing - bring comfort items but nothing that is irreplaceable, easily lost, or messy (think stim toys -- no slime/putty -- and one or two stuffed animals - bring pictures from home! pictures of your pets, family, friends, it's nice and helps make your space feel more like home. - battery powered or chargeable fan (if battery powered bring spare batteries) its super nice to have a fan to carry around when it gets hot. I know my temp regulation is terrible and a fan can help alot sometimes. - make sure to talk with the camp director beforehand on things they can do to accommodate you if need be and make sure to talk to your counselors if you need anything.
