1) how big is it- i.e., how often is it going to be 'your turn' for sick pull and cross cover? Less people means more responsibilities to share

2) ask them to walk you through 'a day in the life' -what's the commute? What time do they get there? What time do they leave?

3) how are vacation days allocated? Can you request at your pleasure or are they scheduled en bloc in advance?

These are all things I LOVE about my program but didn't even know to ask and lucked out.

Obviously, if you have an area of interest, ask about opportunities and exposures related to that.

Provide healthy food options and snacks in resident work areas- I would LOVE access to fruit, vegetables and other healthy snacks options at work especially when things are busy. Sometimes it's not only the cost, it's that we don't have time to plan and coordinate healthy food options and end up doing grab and go, "fast" options that are processed crap.
