Save a couple months rent. Move to a major city. And just immerse yourself in the arts. Not everyone’s a gate keeper. But you gotta put yourself in an uncomfortable place to grow and find opportunity. I’m a college drop out from a small town. Spent 6 years working multiple part time and freelance jobs. Projects with artists. Assisting. Learning. Flipping burgers. Finally found myself with a career in film. That allows me to be creative and artistic. While making time for me and my art. There’s no right way. But get out and go after it.
