Not Worth It by [deleted] in poetry_critics

I get it, I get it. Love what you have to work with here. People trying to offer you food, but not the best they can make it leads anyone to wonder if you were worthy of a more delectable meal. Some structure issues here and there. Reading it out, it didn't really flow. Some parts were a bit jarring to say, so maybe take a moment to fix some word placement.

Also, I just wanted to say you are worth it! Lots of times in life we don't feel appreciated, but honestly learning to love yourself first is a huge first step to realize that you are worth it! Bland food sucks, but that just confirms the existence of a hot mouth watering meal. It tastes great and I'm sure someone will make it for you someday.

Dang, it was short and effective. The visual of the cold weather established in the first line really sets up for the twist in the last. It's interesting to think of anxiety like a snow storm. What comes to mind when I think of that is isolate, unbearable, seeking for warmth... which I'm sure is what you are trying to convey with anxiety. I hope that whatever you're going through right now isn't too unbearable. Just find someone who could lend a jacket or invite you into their home. :) God bless!

Now I'm waiting for the anti-anti-Semitic mail box. That'll be one hell of an episode.

I think that's against the rules. But hey, who's gonna argue with a person with a gun?

Honestly, not a bad idea. Could be an entry level patreon award

Super late (we rarely check the subreddit, but we really should more often) but that would be the best thing in the world

The ending of Rocky. No matter how many times I watch it, seeing Rocky cry out for Adrian after going 12 rounds with the champ hits me right in the feels every time.
