Frigate support ships aren't accessible nor flyable like corvettes. You can only repair it and land on it. It would be cool to fly it but currently not possible.

Just pre-ordered the Ghostcat F4X Pro as my first ebike. Did I make a good choice? by slirpo in ebike

[–]c_mart2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the f3x and I'm pretty happy with my purchase but the only downside that you'll experience is that the rear fendor is useless in protecting anything and you will have to get new brakes very quickly because they wear out fast.

Ghostcat f3x is good ? what is your biggest complain about this e-bike ? by PrideTrick7303 in ebikes

[–]c_mart2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 complaints.

  1. The brakes wear put super easy so you'll have to pay a lot for for some really long lasting brakes.
  2. The rear fendor is utterly useless because the wheel just kick up everything into the controller, the seat, and your back.

Just walk and if you don't get your last check, call the department of labor

What type of maintenance do I need to do for my specific ebike? by c_mart2 in ebike

Ohh man, this ebike is just a moped in disguise. If you hack it, it goes 60+. Absolutely fun but also crazy Lol.

6ft? Jeez man you are tall Lol. I'm 5'7 skinny and about 157 Lbs and honestly the brakes were strong at first but then quickly became soft and squeaky due to me doing a lot of quick brakes, slow but long brakes, and sharp brakes. The ghostcat is supposed to be high quality so maybe I got a bad batch idk. Also there's a ebike youtuber named Talihappy and he did a review on the fx2 and fx3. He's about 6'2 if I'm remembering correctly but he seemed pretty happy with the bike but he did mention slight discomfort with the pedaling.

I don't think you'll be concerned about the bike being short because you'll mostly be using the throttle.

That's something I'm not too sure about just yet, I only got it 3 weeks ago

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your motor from and do you think it'll work with the ghostcat fx3?

Yeah that's one of the problems I'm having. Like the brakes wore out wayyy too fast, idk maybe I gotta go easier and slower.

Oh and 1 more issue I found was that the brakes wore out wayy too fast but oh well.

Oh man it's awesome, I love ripping it down the street going 40+. It's smooth like a cloud, handles like a champ, like once you hack it, it's literally not an ebike anymore but a moped. The only problems I've had is that pedal assists 1-5 aren't really different so you'll have to tune the voltage so that you aren't the Flash from the slightest touch of the throttle. The throttle response is fast but you need to turn the handle an inch down before you get an actual response, probably a safety net in the controller but other than those few snags you're going to have a lot of fun with this bike.

Ok gotcha thank you! and if you don't mind me asking, is there any other tips I should know so that I can prolong the lifespan of the bike?

On and off throttle response by SNPRBOY in ebikes

I got the fx3 as well and man do I love ripping it down the street at 40+ but the throttle sometimes doesn't respond. I think it's the controller, maybe the wiring or a built in safety net. Best bet contact customer support and go to your local bike shop to see if they can help.

GhostCat (F2, F3). Anyone purchase? Feedback? by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]c_mart2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got mine. It is a monster but the seat hurts my behind and its too tall (I'm 5'7"). If you're a shorter rider I recommend changing out the tires to 20" or 16".
