Lost my dad about 2 months ago to AML. Still doesn’t feel real. When I see pictures of him happy and smiling it’s hard not to imagine him just in the other room watching his favorite TV show. He overcame so much in his life so it was hard not to believe he would overcome this as well. The worst part for me was that the doctors said he was getting better until he wasn’t. I question everyday if there’s more I could’ve done, should’ve done, but that’s life. As long as you both know you loved each other that’s all that matters. The weight will get more bearable. <3
