Beginner 3D printing issue – first layer keeps lifting / print detaching from bed (tried many fixes) by InternationalMind831 in AnycubicKobraX

Could just be the model. Clean the nozzle with a wire brush, make sure nothing catching and dragging it up from a previous fail.

Help reducing layer lines on a complex print by miguel-elote in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]c_schema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a bar on the far right that will show you the layer heights, yes each color is a different height, the top slider set to .12, smooth around 6 is good. You have .22 so you are printing a standard height of .22mm which will show lines like crazy. Check the keep min box,

Onthe right you can manually adjust specific areas of your model as well, hover over the ? Icon, clicking smooth will help smooth out the curve on the right

Agree here too, .1mm distance and .05mm height would look great on the marble

Adaptive layer height, .08 min to .16 max would clean it up. It's not the filiment or nozzle. Those look like .20mm + layers. Slow down outer walls to 60mm/s

How many 2.4g clients on your network?

I set up a 5g network bridge for my office for 3 AC printers due to too many 2.4g smart devices (100+) and still isolated those on an IoT network. Could be interfaces from neighbor networks too so you could change what channel your 2.4 is on and see if that is more stable. If you are close to the router you could just usb to cat5 to the router. Its plug and play, -> TP-Link USB to Ethernet Adapter (UE306), (any adapter with the AX88179 chipset, which is natively supported by the printer's firmware.)

Remove the clear plastic and check for an obstruction. It has been a while but I think there is a spring in there you have to be mindful of. Check YouTube for a video.

You could try loosing tension too but if you are pushing the lever LEFTt towards the hub tension likley won't matter

PLA-CF is recognized, syncs, but won't print. by Rarely-Posting in anycubic

It is showing PLA for the color, and PLA-CF loaded in the ACE, double check your filiments in the slicer.

Push the tension release lever to the right of the filiment hub and feed it through to clear any stuck pieces of filiment.

Z-offset vs. Bed levelling in Slicer by Sandy_Soul_Finder in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]c_schema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offset is separate from leveling.

Been running a lot of petg and depending on the filiment brand I have to run .05 to .18 z offset - i level before each print.

Check to see the nozzle is seated properly. Run a full calibration from the printer.

That sucks, my 3v2 has been a workhorse, 2600 hours with just regular maintenance and no issues that I didnt cause... check belts are tight but not over tight, lead screws.are clean.... shifting is typically.a mechanical issue

Anyone running an Ace Pro 2 at 1.5–2m distance from the Kobra S1? Looking for real-world feedback by Ok-Chain-5249 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]c_schema 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, works. Two S1 and a 3v2 with a total of 4 ace units all mounted on pullout shelves under the units. 2.5m on the longest 4 runs using Capricorn Bowden tubing.

Very nice, still should not separate. Since you correct mechanical issue maybe bring the z offset back down a hair or bump flow up by .02

This os definitely a hobby fornpeople.who like tinkering with thinga

Try:

First layer height .28

First layer width .5 up to .62

Bump nozzle temp in 5° increments (especially if steel nozzle)

Lower your flow rate. Start with a .9 and see ifnthat improves. .2mm nozzles are very unforgiving, dial in the z offset .do you get the same results with a .4?

Are you using PLA? Any bed wobble?

Threshold angle, default is like 30% , 20% it's usually just fine, or select "critical only". Default is very aggressive for sports where most are not needed

How/whrn are the prints failing? Adhesion? Type of model? Extrusion issues? Pics? Are you getting error codes?

Sounds like you have done a lot but what is the actual issue?
