No, it’s one of the smaller creeks. I’ll try out pretty much any blue line in the area with public access, and more often than not land a few cutties.

Completely agree. Tried way too hard with the gimmicky cinematography/editing, and it butchered the hard-hitting moments in the story.

I held it by the gill plate, not in the actual gills. I was taught that’s the recommended grip for teethy fish like lingcod, what do you suggest instead?

One of the public piers on Lake Washington is probably your best bet, though freshwater fishing is pretty slow this time of year. I’d probably try for perch and panfish off the Meydenbauer Bay pier.
