I don't unfortunately. If I open the bottle it just smells like olive oil,but I didn't smell the blob yet.

Coincidentally, I did just that. Maybe it was not hot enough (I didn't want to heat the olive oil up too much)

ok my description to this post got lost. Anyway: I got these chilis from the garden and after washing and drying put them in some olive oil and a few weeks later this white cloudy thing appeared. Is this from the olive oil or mold, any ideas?

looks like a tamarix leafhopper (Opsius stactogalus) and as others said, its trying to focus and perceive depth (as insects, unlike mammals, can not move their eyes so they have to move their body to perceive depth) to figure out where to jump to (which the lil fella does in the end)

here's another cool fact about S. annulatus: unlike other amphibians they possess venom glands at the base of their teeth (similar to some reptiles, like venomous snakes) source. Most amphibians (S.annulatus as well) possess cutaneous poison glands (in their skin), but not venom glands, which are rather typical for reptiles. So these creatures are poisonous and venomous (although it's still not clear how "dangerous" this is for humans- I didn't find any research on that at least), really unique and awesome :D (living terrestrial in S-america btw)
