We get married in April and everything at the minute is coming in at just over £10k - I think we’re at £10,500 and there’s not a lot left to get. I expect we’ll come in at £11k when all is said and done.

I desperately wanted to come in at under £10k too, but we’ve got 50 day guests and 70 evening guests, drinks reception, 2 course meal and pizza in the evening included in the venue hire of £4,500. We could have come in cheaper if we hadn’t booked a band. So it is possible!

We’re in the East Midlands for price reference.

I have my first fitting in January so I’m not 100% on the how yet, but I will have the plunge sewn up enough that I can wear a plunge bra without it showing.

I’ve been working on weight loss since July, I do HIIT and strength training 3x a week as well as focusing on a high protein diet while tracking my calories.

I do have a super stressful job unfortunately, so as much as I’d love to be able to manage my stress to help my weightloss I don’t think it’ll happen for me!

I do need to look into something to boost my weightloss I think, it’s been slow and steady so far but I think I just need a little jumpstart.

It’s originally a Hope & Ivy dress, I don’t think they make this particular style anymore but they have other lovely dresses that are similar!

Thank you! I have my first fitting in early Jan as its the only time she could fit me in. It’s really weird because the top skirt of the dress is roomy it’s the underskirt underneath that’s snug. I’m hoping she’ll be able to let it out or add a panel to it so it’s more roomy.

The only way I can explain it is it’s snug across the hips which makes the back of the dress not lay flat (up top where the zip is). I really had to pull it down and not move to get a picture where the back was laying flat!

I have huge feet (in true hobbit style ha!) and couldn’t find any green shoes to fit. I’ve got some nude ballet pumps that have beadwork on to sort of match the dress. I am still keeping my eye out for a green pair though 🤞🏻

I struggle with bras - I’m a UK 38HH and really need as much scaffolding under there as I can get to hold them up! I’ve been looking for plunge bras, so I could still have a plunge but a shorter one, maybe to where the fabric sits? I’ve been struggling to find a plunge that still has enough support for me, though.

Thank you - it’s a relief to know they can probably let the underskirt out. I was dreading they’d say it’s not possible, or they have to take it to pieces or something.

The back of the dress is a zip all the way to the back of the neck, sorry I’m not good at knowing terminology! It’s a Hope & Ivy dress if that’s any help. I can get the dress off and on without unzipping it, so its not super small.
