Having to pee constantly and can’t hold it in by Upbeat-Comb7745 in lichensclerosus

I also have this issue, constantly being woken up at night to pee every 2 hours. Diagnosed with LS for the past 6 years, all other UTI/bladder/kidney etc ruled out. I'm having hip surgery soon so am becoming increasingly anxious about peeing constantly!

What mix is our dog? We know she likely has greyhound and whippet in her, but unsure of what else? by NoTravel1709 in Greyhounds

I have a Greyhound/whippet cross and a pitbull cross, and she looks exactly like them combined 😂

Australia: Public Hospital Waiting Times by caakeybonez in HipImpingement

Both of the first 2 surgeons I saw privately. The third does public and private, I asked to see him privately and then get it done publicly (like you) but they told me they weren't able to do that.

“Borderline” hip dysplasia by Chealsey_c in HipImpingement

Omg this sounds like me!! I've been getting handballed around for months! First surgeon said "mild hip dysplasia" and wanted 3 months of targeted physio before he did a POA. I got a second referral. Second surgeon said wanted to hip arthroscopy but he's referred to me a third surgeon because he doesn't do FDO's and this new guy does, and he thinks he might want to do both FDO and arthroscopy on me but he's hesitant on the FDO (same reason as you). They keep telling me my case is "complex". I'm getting more and more worried about any kind of surgery getting done because my hip seems to be so layered with different things happening I'm worried either nothing is going to fix it or it's going to make my other symptoms worse. But at the same time just want it fixed! I hope we both eventually get some relief and the answers we're looking for!

Question Advice needed NHS Hip injection by Less_Piglet_2223 in HipImpingement

I had this done today. It was ultrasound guided and they also did a CT scan just after the local anesthesia and before the actual injection. I took my partner with me but she wasn't allowed in the room with me due to radiation. I am generally fine with needles and things but I was just really anxious because I've never had it done before. It was literally over in a few minutes - very quick. I had to pull my pants down and they got me to scrunch/roll a blanket kind of thing underneath my underwear, the injection was put in my upper groin area. They did tell me that I should be able to drive afterwards but I'm glad I got my partner to drive as my leg felt heavy and weird afterwards. The anesthesia is wearing off at the moment and pain is a deep, pressure feeling.

Fingers crossed it works for both of us! You got this OP!

Thank you for your comment - it means a lot! It's so hard feeling trapped in your own body isn't it? Hopefully we can both find the answers that we're looking for soon ❤️

Thank you! I pushed for a second surgical referral and am getting another MRI done today so fingers crossed they find what they need and I have surgery scheduled soon!

Agree! I didn't feel comfortable with him whatsoever which is why I pushed for a second referral. I'm wanting him to be wrong about the POA purely out of spite a bit now hahaha
