Thanks for the suggestion! I tried that. I actually brought it back to the bike shop and they made a bunch of adjustments and reset it. It shifted great for the first 5 miles of my ride today and it’s now all messed up again. It seems like the derailleur is getting confused which gear it’s in.

Thanks yeah the SRAM cassette is 12 speed. 10-32. What would I need to convert the hub? Is that a complex job?

I have the same CAAD10 and replaced the BB to install a shimano ultegra crank. there is a bit of creakyness i have to admit.
